So I have been searching for a new gym in my area (code=I'm lazy and don't want to go to the gym) and I finally found one that has a pool. Swimming is the only exercize that I actually enjoy.... Mike and I are going to join together. They are even offering a fall special, $129 for 9 months! You can't beat that! Even if it is targeted to students, anyone can take advantage. The pool is newly renovated and opens this month. Oh and it is open 24 hours.

NO MORE EXCUSES!!!

I went to the gym on Saturday and did 15 mins on treadmill and 45 on elliptical. I was supposed to go on Sunday to do weights, but I ended up drinking a lot on Saturday night and was too sick to go on Sunday. So, I am back at my boot camp tonight and will try to get in at least another day of working out this week. Problem is its an insanely busy week. I will see if I can fit it in on Wednesday night. So, bootcamp tonight and Thursday night and gym on Wednesday, I hope.

That is awesome, you are doing so great. I love belly dancing, I took it once, but I don't know where to take it in my new city, its a lot smaller than the last one I lived in. Great job Kate.

Hey Jill, how is the weight loss going? I know you wanted to lose a few more pounds before the wedding - are you getting there?

Ok....questions for ya ladies......

I just got a scale for the first time in my life! I sometimes weigh myself at the gym...but don't really trust the numbers. So....I got one that measures pounds, body fat and water levels in your body.

What is a healthy body fat percentage and what should my goal be? How often should I be weighing myself? Since I workout so much....won't I actually be gaining weight since muscle weighs more than fat? FI says its crazy to go off of the pounds since I will be fooling myself due to the muscle/fat deal. What do you think?

well, I fell off the wagon when we went away for the weekend, but I'm trying to get myself moving again. I actually have been avoiding the scale because I don't want to discourage myself. I'm going to weigh myself next week and I'll let you know!

I don't know a lot about this, but I try not to weigh myself more than once a week because your weight can fluctuate a lot throughout the day and from day to day.

Did your scale come with a book that tells you how to figure out what a healthy body fat is?

I would do an search online and find out what your percentage should be, I know its different for everyone depending on height and age and all that good stuff. But he is right, body fat is a much better tell then weight.

I was told you should weigh yourself once a week, on the same day at time every week. This is the only way to tell your actual weight because we fluctuate so much, even 5 lbs in 1 day. So, I say once a week. I do Friday morning when I get up. This way when I am bad on the weekend I still have time to make it right before I weigh myself again.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
