First off, you looked absolutely fabulous - but then you know that already. I love that you guys genuinely looked like you had a great time.

I've really been wanting to do the beach wedding, but have had concerns about it being a bit too casual. You have been the deciding factor, in my coming to the conclusion that it can be done on the beach - and done elegantly!

Am loving the look of ROR. I realise that you came in on a great budget ($1,000 for flowers?!!) but can I ask what it cost to stay at ROR? For yourself and the groom? And for the guests? What length of stay did you have?My husband and I payed $3500 for the both of us for 7nights in a Jr Suite (got upgraded to an ocean suite). We spent an additional week by ourselves in Negril. Our friends who stayed the week in a reg room got for about $1550 each with 2 in a room. The ones who stayed for Wed-Sunday, paid about $1150 each with 2 in a room. All of these prices included the flight from Minneapolis, though, so that alone was about $500 of the total, ie $500 of the $1550 each for a week

Thanks SO much for sharing your pictures and taking the time to post this review/answer questions. I'm definately gearing toward ROR, thanks to your input! It looks fabulous!
Of course! This site helped me out SO MUCH when I was planning too! Please let me know if you have more questions. I am happy to help! Good luck!

First off your pictures are great and you looked fabulous. You said that you got legally married here first, and just did the symbolic wedding there. What documents did you need to bring with you? I am trying to see how far in advance we need to legally married before we get there.

Also did you go through tia flora for your flowers and did you contact them in advance for your flowers or did you have chandolyn do it? --- I have contacted her on both of these things but haven't heard back yet sad.gifmuscle.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
