They didn't assign a wedding coordinator for you? I haven't heard from mine since we paid off our wedding balance. That was in NOV! She tells me to use their Base Camp website but I have no luck with that. I always have to send her an email which she responds pretty quickly. I have some emails if you want to try to contact them.

I'm currently using DestinationWeddings.com as my TA and I'm not really impressed with them. They get the job done but I don't recommend them. Good luck with whoever you choose to go with.

I am doing the RSVP but man I must be really bad about getting them out accordingly. =/ I asked to get my responses 3 weeks before the wedding.

Welcome and congrats. It seems like a lot of people are sending their invitations out ahead of time. I got my invitations and RSVP cards done through Mixbook because they were having a 50% sale. My wedding is in April and I will be mailing out the invitations this week. (Yikes, I know.) I did a save-the-date email and mailed a save-the-date card in September with all our travel agent information and where we were staying at. Good luck!

I am but lately this week I haven't logged. Im just checking my daily calorie intake, eating healthier and working out at least 3-4 times a week.

Our wedding is on a Friday and we are arriving on a Wednesday.

I have no patience to hand write every invitation, lol. I'm going to use clear labels (Avery) and have them printed.

Oh no! I'm so sorry that your entire group did not attend. I am an emotional person so I overthink everything. I try not to let it get to me personally but I will not let it make me regret doing a destination wedding. It's for me, FI and our daughter. The more I think about it, it's less people to entertain. I could barely entertain the amount of people at my daughter's birthday party so the declines to our wedding aren't too bad now. I get it, I don't know some people's financial/personal situations. It's definitely our dream wedding and vacation. I'm in need of vacation anyways!

I'm going to go ahead and send the invitations to the declined people. To let them know we were still thinking of them and I will also include a note that they will be missed.

I know it's expected when it comes to a DW. They are not cheap and not everyone can attend. I think within the past week, I have already received 3 declines RSVP before I even ordered the wedding invitations. I know it's expected and all but I'm trying not to let it bring me down. Some has given me a reason why they can't make it and some just said "We can't attend." It's making me feel like not ordering the "invited amount" of invitations knowing I already know their answers. (Save some paper and $$$, should I?) Some guests asked me to remove them off their email list because they can't make it and I don't want to make them upset by sending them an invitation. Completely normal to feel bummed.

I have done birthday invitations through Vistaprint and loved the way they came out. Big fan of Vistaprint. I love the Groupon deal.

Bummer. We started planning our DW in September so we weren't able to purchase tickets then. I think we are going to purchase the tickets next week and hopefully it will go down just a little bit. We have a CC that will let us redeem our rewards for airfare miles.

I didn't know you could do this. I'm going to contact the seamstress to see if she can do this. It would be wonderful not having to purchase a strapless bra! I'm also going to wear a petticoat under my wedding dress too.

We are working with a travel agent right now but this is what she suggested was doing the Kayak alert. I contacted United Airlines about doing a group rate but they said we could lose the group discount rate because not everyone is flying back at the same time. In the fall, prices (round trip) was about $800+ and now it has dropped down to $434 per person. I just want to drop it a little more. LOL. They actually have this deal with Viva AeroBus where flights is $168 per person but they only fly out on certain days.

I have been monitoring Kayak like a hawk and watching the price of airfare go down. When is the best time to purchase the plane tickets to Mexico? We have to buy a total of 10 airplane tickets (which includes FI, our daughter and myself) for the rest of our families. I know price will vary because not everyone is staying the same amount of time like we are. Our wedding is in April and I'm afraid if I wait too long, the prices will skyrocket because it's around that spring break time. What did you past/current brides do?

We have already paid a big hefty deposit to keep the rooms for them. =/ Hopefully by January, they can start booking. OMG, how frustrating! I'm so sorry. *sigh* Sometimes I don't mind helping but having to constantly remind them is a job already.
