Here are my flower girls in their dresses. (They won't be wrinkled for ceremony). My sis in law found them at Target. They are perfect for a beach wedding!!

Here is mine! I am really late in getting something but I was told this should be in by first week of October! Crossing my fingers! Hard to see all the detail in the dress but I love it! I added the eggplant sash to it and will need some minor alterations.

So how is the planning coming along for everyone? I am wayyyyyyyyy behind. Finally just ordered my dress last week. Luckily though it should be here no later than first week of October. Plenty of time for the alterations. Flower girl dresses were just ordered last night. Now only a billion more things on my list that need to be checked off lol.

I will be 43 and fiance 49 when we marry. 2nd marriage for both of us and we have been dating for 9.5 years. Already feel like we are an old married couple.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I will be a month behind you in December. We are going with the Waves of love package in purple. Part of me feels that the blue in the flowers gets washed out by the gorgeous blue water. The purple just looks more vibrant and gives a nice contrast. My colors are going to be purple with hints of green. We are not doing a private reception. We really can't wrap our minds around the fact that we are already paying for an all inclusive. Why should we spend that much more money when we can get the food included. We are just going to have everyone meet up after the wedding and have our own party without the additional charges. My biggest reason for choosing this resort is that if it happened to rain on our big day I didn't want to just get married somewhere inside. The GPLH has the gorgeous Angels Atrium as the backup location. You are still outside but undercover. I can't answer your other questions but hopefully someone who has already been there can. For 4 nights all inclusive the cheapest room category is $608 pp for double occupancy room. Airfare will vary but should not be more than an additional $500.

Hope someone can help me out. Everything I am reading tells me that I need to have a "notarized copy of final divorce decree". I have a certified copy of my final divorce decree. Do I need to take that to get notarized...or is the certified copy what they need? I'm so confused..lol,

I am finally finished and they have all been mailed!!! Thank you goes out to everyone for their inspiration. I am not a very creative person but by combing through these forums and taking ideas from different people I was able to create our own. I am so happy that I decided to do these! Everyone that has received them loved them and now they are wondering what I'm going to come up with for the invitations.... so the pressure is on!!!!

I say go for it! This sounds like something that you really want to do so don't worry about what somebody else thought. You paid for it so you should get to be the decision maker on it;) Like others have said just rinse it out immediately after. My girlfriend got married in Key West and forgot to bustle her dress as they were partying in the streets. She ended up having black all over the bottom of her dress. She soaked it in OxiClean and it came right out.

Hi Liz, Just wanted to say good luck on your search. We have been to Mexico a few times and we feel the beaches in the Riviera Maya area (Tulum, Akumal, Playa del Carmen) are so much nicer than the Cancun beaches. Bigger beach area, water more of a turquoise blue. They are absolutely gorgeous so you can't go wrong:) Just wanted to throw that out there to give you more options on your search. Happy Planning!!
