  1. Were the stamps in the background part of the template or did you make them? That is the only part I am having trouble with for mine...
  2. Anyone know how to get that "stamped on" look? I can create the shapes/text and such, but getting that faded in some areas look I am at a loss...
  3. Awesome! We were a little concerned because of what we had heard about Dunn's. We were worried all the good places to take pics would be full of tourists or we would have to get up at sunrise after partying all night...lol
  4. Is there any way I could get a copy of that template if you have time? I would really like to start working on a monogram and I want to do postcard RSVPs....
  5. That is what I like about the Power90. It starts out slow so it's not so overwhelming. Thanks for the feedback! I will definitely have to try it out next!
  6. I have to say that I absolutely adore #3. I love the silhouette and the touch of lace!
  7. I absolutely LOVE the design on the Thumbprint one! And I think they will look great all together on your wall!
  8. If you don't mind spending a little more on them, I would suggest the Bubba Keg Tumblers (www.shopbubba.com). Though they are more expensive, they are FANTASTIC!!! I think I am just going to splurge on the ones for the parents and wedding party, and then find some cheaper ones for everyone else. BUT, Bubba does offer discounts on orders of about 20+ if you wanted to get them for everyone.
  9. I really love the idea of the program fans! The shimmer paper is a great touch! Thanks for the idea about the confetti. I am starting to build up quite a collection of paper scraps from all my projects!
  10. Have you tried any local bridal shops? Since they now have something like it available on dessy.com the stores might be carrying them. I know that the bridal store I am going to has most of the dresses available on dessy...
  11. I can't tell you where you can try them on, but if you go to http://www.henkaa.com/ and click on gallery, they have 8 pages full of pictures of actual people in the dresses. They have ALL shapes in these pics even including a couple pregnant bridesmaids. You can at least get an idea of what it may look like... It was really helpful for me as I was concerned with that as well!
  12. A good template (that is free) is Aylee's Bits. It is posted all over the forum and you don't have to be able to download attachments to get it. You can get them made by sellers on Etsy, but I have found that they are generally $4/piece on there if you want a sleeve, etc... Hope this helps!
  13. The only problem I am having is trying to figure out how long I need to edit it to and what part, since I won't know how long the processional will be...
  14. Name: Amanda and Charlie Location: Riu Ocho Rios Wedding: April 27, 2013 in JA: 04/20/13 - 4/31/13
  15. Let me know how you like the 30day Shred! I have a friend who offered me her copy and I am thinking about starting it after the Power90 for a change up since I get bored easily.
  16. I understand that. I feel so much better now that I have the contract signed and the deposit down. It's nice to give guests concrete details instead of the "it might be..." that I was giving them before!
  17. I have to say, I am running into more and more midwest brides lately. I think we all need a break from the crazy weather.
  18. I didn't. I simply am keeping in touch with everyone since we are only inviting 50 total to the actual wedding and they are family/friends we are in contact with on a regular basis.
  19. I think I might just go with A Thousand Years by Christina Perri for my processional. Just love it and it is the perfect tempo!
  20. That is awesome! We are thinking about heading down on the 24th, but depending on when my FI's parents are going, we may go as early as the 20th.
  21. We are getting married at Riu Ocho Rios and my brother-in-law is performing the ceremony. Has anyone else done this already and can give me a little insight? Do we still have to pay the $350 fee since we have our own minister? Are there any legal issues I should be concerned with or will need to take care of since he is not from Jamaica?
  22. Sunshinybride, how long are you staying? We are probably arriving on the 22nd, will you still be around?! We could meet up and have a drink!
  23. The yellow is gorgeous! And actually we decided to go with a sapphire. The jewelry shop had this Ceylon sapphire that was just too beautiful of a color to pass up on. Plus I didn't mind that with a sapphire I could go up to 3 carats and still fit within the budget.
