Thanks for the info ladies! I am planning a June 2013 wedding at Now Jade. My parents, FI, and I are making a site visit this June 2012. Right now we have the pergola, mix bar, and bamboo room booked. I originally had my heart set on an outside receptions, but we were worried about the heat in June. I don't want sweaty bodies on the dance floor, lol. Has anyone had an outdoor reception in June?

Daniela, From what I have read you cannot get a credit for services that you opt out of, but sometimes they have allowed you to switch things out. I do know that Now Jade does not charge the outside vendor fee for a photographer, you just have to buy them a day pass to the resort which is $55 I think. As far as a florist, I have read that you can have another florist do the flowers and meet them at the gate to bring the flowers in yourself if you want to avoid the high outside vendor fee. I am going to look into this, but not sure it's worth the hassle? I'm going on a site visit in June and will be posting a review and pics.

Oh and are you having purple orchids for your flowers? I love orchids too!

Allii, I am planning a June 2013 wedding at Now Jade and chose the bamboo room for the same reason...I wanted more space for dancing. We are going on a site visit this June so I'd be happy to take pictures and post them when we return. How did your phone conference go? Have you sent out STD yet? What kind did you go for?
