Ordered INsanity on a whim, now just waiting for it to come in the mail. I am nervous and excited...LOL! I really want to like it and stick to it. I have a gym membership but all I do is cardio. I would love to utilize the gym more for weights and spend more time at home which is why I chose Insanity. I am stoked to start this program and even more so that I found a thread on it! :-)

Thank you so much for the details! Good to know the food is good there, I was worried about it. When I went to PC last June, we went to the Grand Palladium and it was awful. We had about 15 people and everyone was sick from the food. I thought their food was so disgusting. And now after reading even recent reviews on Grand Palladium, there are still a ton of complaints. So this to me is AMAZING news to hear about Ocean Blue. My TA said it was really good food too.

I wonder if they still have these! I love them!

You both should check out Delta Vacations toos...they have packages now, quite a few options for what you are doing as well.

I just got the January 2013 flight prices this past Thursday...FYI And I am a happy camper about them! :-) Oh and January 25th is still open at 5 pm for my ceremony. Just have to decide with the FI what package to choose. Best value is definitely the Sand package. I was told that the Complimentary package can only be for up to 19 people (paying $15pp for 9 of them). I think we will probably have more people than that. Oh and the dinner reseravation for anything over 20 will have to be in the buffet to be able to sit together. I dont know if i want that or not now...but I could really use the money for the AHR. Arggggggggggggghhhh!

Jamie, I truly hope some of your friends come around! How awful of them to do that. I don't understand people sometimes.

Here here! Yes they can suck. :-( I just am glad that other people have the same issues. It sucks to be hurt this and to cry about our wedding...it really sucks.

You do what you want Peach! I know that is easier said than done...trust me. I am legally getting married here with only our two BFFs. My maid of Honor just announced last week she is pregnant, meaning she probably wont be leaving a 2 month old baby for PC...it's killing me but I would never ask her to do that. So she will be at my legal and then we will do a lunch after. Nothing fancy at all as my DW will be my true wedding and wedding anniversary date. As for the AHR - we will be doing one as well after we return, probably in May of next year. I know it does sound like a lot, but I do not think it takes away from doing a DW at all! I think of it as a minor technicality. :-) My AHR will not be anything too fancy or expensive either. Nothing will take away that I am getting married to my love on a beach in PC!

I will get my measurements and weight at the gym tonight and get back with all of you! This is a great group so far and I like the no judging and all of the motivation already. Ill have the info tomorrow. :-)

Your post is not offside. It brings the point that Weddings can bring out the best and worst in people. I have had one rude encounter as well with a "friend" that said how selfish it was of me to expect people to go. I told her, I do not expect anyone to go if they cannot go. And then, I proceeded to tell her that she is not wanted there if she thinks that "the bride and groom cannot be happy and enjoy what THEY want on THEIR wedding day". Thats crap, weddings are about the bride and groom that have said their vows and are married. All of my close family and friends have known about this for over a year and they are all going. It is really crappy of her to change her mind on goingand then not even bring it up. It hurts, I know. ((hugs)) I hope you can work this out with her, especially it being your FI sister...and with such an advanced notice.

Is she already in PC then? I am going to add her onto my list to check out along with the other two. I just tried to go to the HDC site and it said the site is suspended....

I did look into her and loved her work. But her packages were much more expensive than HDC and Carribean Emotions. Otherwise she is amazing!

Just yesterday? Makes me feel a little better. LOL. I cannot wait to be excited about a date finally too. Ill keep you ladies posted. No just a symbolic ceremony, I am going to wait until the end of the week and then send another e-mail.

I might change my mind...LOL! I know I could use that extra money for our AHR. I was not going to have one, but some close family cannot make it and they talked me into it. Otherwise I love the Sand package. The best package I saw out of all of the resorts I have looked at.

Oh good, I thought I was the only one. LOL! It is not set in stone yet but I think we are leaning towards the Blue Affair package and then a reservation. I am at this time just happy I finally chose a resort. You are all so much further than me. I am planning a January 2013 wedding...date to come soon!

I plan on having about 25-30 people here, would you have to pay extra for the people beyond the 10 for the ceremony? Also, I might just go with a reservation rather than a reception since we are having a AHR here. Thoughts?
