Me too!!! I am starting to freak out a bit...

We did alittle bit. It was very difficult in the begining (first, even having a destination wedding-some people were not happy about it regardless where it was), but I just kept on smiling at them and said it was safe. The people who were concerned about it, did their research and found out that it was safe. It just takes time. I thought some people where never going to come around, but we are getting married this May and so far we have 21 people(including FI and myself) and maybe 3-5 more people might book. It hurt me at first, but I realized that I can't please everyone and it is about me and my fiance. No body else. I hope they come around.

I am getting married in May in Mexico and was thinking the same thing! I was thinking of maybe wearing my wedding ring on my right hand, until we get married. I think it is safe to bring the rings-most of my friends who are attending are married and they will all be wearing their engagement and wedding rings. I am just really really nervous about keeping the rings in the room while we aren't there.

I was going to use the spa at the reosrt for hair and makeup. I am thinking of doing a trial run here at home, taking a lot of pictures and showing them at the resort. Has anyone heard anything about them? Are they good at hair and makeup? I hope so...

Hi, We just signed this week with Ivan Luckie photography! I am so happy that we got him. I think his pictures are so amazing:) Before you choose a photpgrapher any other outside vendor check with Excellence to see if they allow them. Some outside vendors are not allowed on the property. I was very confused as well! I just kept on emailing nayeli with all my questions and she got back to me very quickly. She told me that about a week before the wedding, she need certain things like floral arragements and food, once we get down there, we pick everything else. She has sent me choices so I can just start looking and planning now. I think that is what will happen. Email gloria and ask her. You said your wedidng was going to be small-how many people? We have so far booked 12 people (not including me and fiance) and expecting maybe 10 more.

Ok, this is my third try trying to post! Hopefully this works! I am working with nayeli. We are getting the gold package. So far everything is good. I booked our air, honeymoon, dj and photgrapher. In process of getting the invitations made.

We got our intinerary the day we booked it form our travel agent. It should be available, I would think.

I can. I have a while to go (May 7, 2012), but I feel that it is always me who is contacting her, not the other way around. She has yet to contact me first regarding anything. I am getting nervous that she will forget that I will be getting married. Isn't it supposed to be the wedding coordinator contacting the bride to make sure everything is ok?

Hi, I am thinking about using them for my wedding next year. They were very responsive to my emails-maybe the hurricane did some damage where they are located? I think the dance floor is $700 and the basic package is $800. So you would be looking at $1500 minmium if you wanted the dance floor.

I have been using DW for about 3 weeks now. They are okay. By no means great. I always get nervous when receiving emails from her. She never remembers any of my info(like a free wedding package or an upgraded one), she interupts me alot, and tries to sway me to other resorts. I just got the room rates from her and after looking online, I can find them cheaper. I also do not want to put a several thousand dollar deposit on 12 rooms when my guests can easily go on expedia or cheapcarribean and get it much cheaper. If they do that(which I do not blame them at all), we lose alot of money. I am debating on whether to just go solo and contact the resort we want to go instead or maybe try and get a BDW TA. I am thinking of going to Excellence Riveria for the wedding and then maybe going to El Dorado Maroma for a couple days for the honeymoon. I think I may need a travel agent to help me with that (and maybe get some deals). This website has been sooo helpful! I am so thankful I found it!
