  1. ME TOO! Except for I don't tan and get a lot of freckles and have pink sunburned skin. I was thinking of doing the St Tropez self tanning but I don't want to have it come off my dress. Does anyone have exeperience with that particular brand?
  2. I don't think I would know what to do with 200 guests at a destination wedding!
  3. OH - I have a really great recipe for Fleur de Sel caramels if any one is interested....they are SO easy to make!
  4. Love it! I really love the spa bags! thanks for the idea for the nail files! I'm constantly looking for one!
  5. We're keeping ours quiet as well - my FI's sister and husband are the only one's who know - she's preggers and due in May (we're going to DR in April) and she won't be able to travel so her and her husband are going to be our witnesses and we'll have a private little celebration with them.
  6. Oh CHECK THAT maybe not....i was just listening to it - hummming along...mr. mraz starts talking in the middle of the song.
  7. I am leaning towards "Freedom Song" (live version) by Jason Mraz - It's really happy and light....I'm a musician and I love the lyric "it makes me feel good, cuz when I feel I good of the joy it brings"
  8. I have the same concern. We are planning on having a bit of entertainment, using an Ipod - we will probably dance away the night but I'm not much a speech girl. Infact - I want to stay as far away from speeches as possible. My FI's best friend will be our MC and he's hilarious - we just want it to be a big party so I'm really unsure if we should structure the evening or let it flow - hmmmmm what to do...
  9. We are getting married in the Dominican and they require blood tests etc. SO - we don't want to deal with that AT ALL...just having a civil ceremony 2 weeks before we head south!
  10. I love!!!!! particularly the back - soooooo cute
  11. on the "no fun" diet week work out consists of: 1 - 1hour spin clas 1 - 1 hour session with trainer 2 - 5 mile runs.
  12. lovely pic my FI is in charge of the first dance song...and he chose 'Lay It Down' by Al Green I liked that option much better than 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love' by The Darkness
  13. I actually designed the graphics on the bags and there's this cool company in Vancouver that makes bags out of old T-shirts. I just loved the idea of using recycled tshirts - they will also be doing the screen printing. Here's the link if you want to take a look altho some of their products are VERY pricey. I looked EVERYWHERE for recyled material bags and it was so ridiculous - most companies want you to order a minimum of 1000 - anyhow....here you go http://www.meandyou.ca/
  14. I totally forgot we're making "mix tape" CD's as well! Summer type music that our guests can play in their rooms!
  15. Hi KCB2011 We've decided to taylor our OOT bags to each guest as we're having a very small wedding - just family - it's about 18 people. We've decided to get books or mags that each person will enjoy (we are on a budget as well so costco is our best friend for that kind of stuff), we're getting hand sanitizer, we're also going to get a few postcards for each person while down in DR and make sure they have postage on them with the idea that by the end of our stay, they will write their favorite memory of the week and mail it to us from DR. I think that will be a great keepsake. My sister is also an Arbonne rep so I was thinking to get every couple some after Arbonne sun lotion and maybe a bunch of suncreen samples and the like from her. Among the typical advil, immodium, bandaids, double sided tape, safey pins - the kids will be getting books and sand toys and candy. For our favours at the reception, we're likely going to get small tins of our favourite loose leaf tea either from Silk Road in Victoria or David's Tea here in vancouver - it will be super easy to personalize and I know everyone coming loves tea - except the kids of course!
