Okay so I went dress shopping today and I ended up with a dress that in a million years would have thought was totally not my style and totally boring. And the picture does this dress absolutely NO justice. It's so lite and the skirt is cut so that when it falls it looks like flower petals but it will blow and look like waves in the wind. I almost don't want to post the pic b/c it look so plain I am going with it in ivory

I think my TA pulled some strings, and got me my contacts name, I haven't heard her mentioned before, Anjelica, anyone of you fabulous brides have her?

Do not feel bad, because trust me. I was NOT a crafty bride either, but using the templates provided here I have turned into one because I now trust myself that I can do this. I love all my DIY projects. Plus they totally keep me out of trouble

So I tried on my TTD dress, came in the mail yesterday, still not happy with my arms and it's making me stress about going dress shopping tomorrow, plus it's a little bit too tight up top. Time to figure out how to work out my back

That is so tough, I *think* most people would be smart enough to wear wedding attire that is appropriate for a beach wedding, but I find myself thinking about adding it too. My resort has certain restaurants that require more formal (long pants) attire so I am mentioning that in my newsletter updates and packing list, but I wouldn't put it on your invitation. I'd wait for a more informal update.

Okay so my $50.00 TTD came today via UPS....I am not happy about my arms still, but FI said he would help me lose weight and be my partner in that.

I dunno if we will be doing mugs or not. Maybe pashminas for the ladies and something for the boys

I haven't heard from him yet either. i am kinda bummed about it too

Enjoy every minute even the small ones. Planning can be as fun or as stressful as you want it to be. FI and I actually do all of our DIY projects as a team. It helps make it feel more like a partnership.

Here's the thing, it's your day. Your sister will be there with you in your heart. This isn't about your sister this is about you and your FI. So don't make your decision based on emotion. Take a few days to think long and hard. Because IMO the people who REALLY need to be there are you and FI. if you still feel that way you can always change your plans. I am lucky because FSIL is pregnant due in July and they are still going to mexico without the monkey. I'm blessed and honored by that.

I agree I think since it is in your contract you won't miss out, and if they do change the promotion then your guests I believe are entitled to the comparable package for that new promotion if that makes sense.
