    i'm not sure if i want to use the original site I created or if i want to use shutterfly. Ugghh...the one i created with photobucket seems impersonal to me and I like the blogging type of atmosphere you can use on shutterfly. I have no idea what i am ultimately going to do.

    I am almost done with one bracelet, only 5 more to go as of right now. Working on our 3rd newsletter, I will start working on the OOT bag stuff in November after my SIL's AHR which is Nov 5. I will post pix of the finished products and templates soon

    I just started on my DIY jewelry adventure. I am making a bracelet for each lady, I wanted to do barefoot jewelry but I don't even know how to begin doing that. Love yours.

    Happy Belated Birthday! I've been on DIY download since I don't want to start officially making the final preps until I know more about who is going. I think it would make me depressed to make them all up and not use them I've missed the forum and you ladies a ton though. You all make me excited about the wedding because everyone asks me what we are doing now and I don't want to spoil my surprises

    for shutterfly they do have to register in order to join yes. Photobucket doesn't offer the same type of sharing so I just gave my log in and once the wedding is over for a few months I will change it to a personal one.

    Funny, my theme is casual elegance and I did MIB's for our invites. I liked having fun with them and capturing the piece of my FI that has a flare for the dramatic. He's my treasure which is why it's a map

    I went to bath and body works and bought some of their room essential oil and mixed it w/my sand and 5 months later, I still smell the beach

    We are getting married before Cancun. Most of our guests know this, although we will technically be married our anniversary will not be until we are married in Mexico.

    I actually emailed the MP and asked if you are doing a symbolic ceremony if the 3 day rule applied or if that can be waived. I was given the okay to waive the 3 days since I am already taking 2 weeks off as well, and I am getting married on a Tuesday. I would confirm with your resort contact and then have your TA contact them as well

    We realized also that the shower and gifts are not always about you. It is about your family and friends wanting to be a part of your future in some way. We asked that people donate to our favorite charity or they could go and buy us something if that is what they choose. We'd prefer the charity since our friends lost their 2.5 year old to this disease, but we can't make people do it. But I agree you can register for your honeymoon or your travel to the wedding.

    I've been sending out newsletters every few months because it helps to keep me excited too. I only send it to the people who have confirmed and those we are pretty sure will be coming. But I will be also sending out the pre wedding one with a packing list and everything about a month before we leave and it will include all the information I gather as soon as I complete working with the resort staff starting 3 months away in January. I have been in a planning funk so I am hoping to get inspired again soon.
