I'm a little frustrated with my Miami WC. I'm working on signing a group booking contract and block off rooms for guests with MP and my WC tells me there is no rooms available in Sunset section, only in Nizuk and they don't have Deluxe Rooms either (the least pricey ones). Our wedding is 8 months away and I was under impression that Nov is low season in Mexico..... Did anyone had similar situation? What should I do? Should I press her harder for rooms and section I want? Any advice?

I initially wanted to go with TA to get good rates and avoid extra headache, but my TA gave me the the same group rate as the resort plus the resort's conditions were much better. I did not need to put any deposit on blocked rooms (only have to pay full payment for our room) and if we won't feel all of the blocked rooms there is no fines or lost deposits as opposed to TA's conditions where I would lose the deposits for any/all unfilled rooms. I thought the TA's conditions were unreasonable since there is no way for me to know a year ahead of time how many guests will come to our wedding and how many rooms we need to block. I'm still considering to use TA for flights but I have not yet decided on that.

I'm really happy how it turned out considering it's the first time I ever attempted to do anything like that. I'm not that creative or crafty. I borrowed most of the ideas from all the wonderful ladies/gentelmen here on BDS What do you all think? Any suggestions? I'm open to opinions Here are my STD magnets, I will order them from Vistaprint

Haha, for some reason I read that your wedding is in 2011. Thanks for the tip about outside florist I was thinking of going with sapphire package as well. Do you have pics of the sapphire setting by any chance? Â
