Hi AllieRay, When I saw the first photo my initial thought was "Oh that's super pretty as is, why does she want to mess with it?" Then I scrolled further and read that it was the invite with the orange backing which clearly I love! LOL By itself is nice also but feels as though something is missing and I wasn't crazy about the white backing so I definitely vote for the orange cardstock. As for the envelope, based on 780chick's reply I'm curious to see if the orange cardstock with orange envelope will have that WOW factor or be too much. Would you mind posting a pic of them together? Although I'm sure the white envelope with orange cardstock will look fab as well. Lady E

DominiqueAmber's Wedding Planning Blog
passionsarcasm replied to dominiqueamber's topic in Blog Archive
AAAAAHHHHH Dominique I LOVE YOUR BLOG! I have been DYING (ok maybe dying is a bit extreme) to read your blog. I finally got Raj to watch the baby and give me time to read...took me 4 hours (of course with interruptions) to finally get through it but as I predicted, it was totally worth the wait. So proud of your accomplishments and creative ideas. Your STD's = SUPER ADORABLE! Your Dress ideas = Classy, Romantic and Stylish...like your personality And no worries on the setbacks and averted plans...it happens to many (including myself, I say this as I enviously watch others plan their weddings, waiting until I can start back planning) The main thing to focus on, that you have continuously mentioned throughout, is that you're marrying Ra...the RIGHT MAN for YOU! So please don't stress or feel any type of embarrassment...your ideas are inspiring and I can't wait to see all of them come together...(no matter the date or location) So keep on posting, I am currently living vicariously through you so don't let me down...hahahaha (no pressure ) ~ E Quote: Originally Posted by dominiqueamber Saying "Yes, Yes, Yes, Oh Yesh!" to the Dress Feburary 4, 2012 I know everyone woman waits for that moment where she finds “thee dress†I can’t even begin to explain to you my excitment when I found m dress. Hiii, I remembered seeing a recommendation for a company and did a quick search: THREAD: Re: November 2010 Brides - Riviera Maya BRIDE: artistique QUOTE: "I would highly recommend Catamaya for your sailing trip! :::::::::: CATAMAYA :::::::::: We went in January and it was so awesome! The boat is beautiful and the crew couldn't have been more fun. Everyone who wanted to went snorkeling (all gear provided of course) and others just swam off the back of the boat. It was a sunset cruise so they went under power to the snorkeling place, then sailed back towards the sunset. It was gorgeous! I will post some pics later as I am off to an appt now. Oh, and they sail out of Puerto Aventuras, just south of Playa. We told all of our guests ahead of time that we had a special “thank you†surprise for all of them. On Thursday we told them what is was. Everyone was super excited! We got the basic package ($2200 + Transportation-$10 per person). We snorkeled, fished-and caught fish, made Civiche out of the fish we caught, they played music, and we had an open bar." I contacted catamaya :::::::::: CATAMAYA ::::::::::. I got the info through another bride on this forum who used them. Our photographer Samuel Luna offers an extra shoot so we chose to have him do the rehersal dinner and thought a catamaran would be really cool. They offer the following, Morning Charter with Grilled Burgers From 10am to 2pm The lunch includes: Green salad with Italian and French dressing, Guacamole, Mexican salsa, tortilla chips and an hamburger that our chef grills on our stainless steel grill on the back of the catamaran. If you need us to provide the round trip transportation, please consider USD 10.00 per person. · A 30% deposit is required order to book the date, and the balance will have to be paid one week before the event. · At the following link you could find more images of Catamaya: YouTube - Catamaya Sailing Cruises The only thing is as you see above it is extra for the transportation. They leave out of puerto morales. I am waiting for our TA to see if maybe there is the same thing local in Playa so we do not have to do the transportation."
