  1. Hey about how long are Pastor York's ceremony? Do you guys think 5:30 is a good time to start the cermony? Is there enough time to take pictures afterwards or does it get dark quickly? Thanks for any input!
  2. mb bride..congrats on your wedding! Can I ask how many people were at your wedding? We have around 55. Do you think that if we just stay downstairs that would be enough room or would you say I am going to have to rent the entire restaurant? Is there an area to dance? If you don't mind me asking about price, how much was yours approximately? Did you have a dj or do you know if they have speakers to set up an ipod? How much were you charged for the decorations inside and outside? Is just an overall price for "decorations" Or do you pick and choose what type of decorations you want? Are the main prices just for eating, drinking, and decorations? Can you think of any other costs you had besides fire dancers)? I'm sorr for all the questions, but I'm trying to figure out the best option! We are staying at the Majestic Elegance, where did you stay and would you def. reccommend jellyfish over resort reception? Thanks so much in advance! Brooke
  3. Hey those pictures are gorgeous! Question about the open bar. I am also concerned about that. We have around 50 people going and so I have rented the Wet bar after our dinner at the steak house. Where was your reception held that the drinks were included? Thanks!
  4. Can you please let me know where you got all your stuff for only $60?? I am def. interested in doing the same thing! I'm not sure yet about our reception. I'm thinking of doing the free dinner at a rest. and then maybe renting out the parrot bar or wet bar for some dancing! I'm going to wait and see how many guests we have booked

  8. Hey Everyone! A few questions hopefully SOMEONE can help with  1.) With the base rate of 500 per hour for wet bar/parrot bar, it just includes national drinks and sound system, correct? 2.) Are the national drinks even good?!? 3.) Do they decorate the parrot bar/wet bar at all for you or do you have to go and pay for a "decoration package"? 4.) Anyone do the "fire show" for 500 dollars and would you recommend it? 5.) Anyone use the trio band? Where did they perform, during ceremony or reception? Where would the best place be and is it worth it? 6.) I got addition services emailed to me and under "extras" it says " decorations for the ceremony $348 up to 40 guests...anyone know what this includes? 7.) There is a free dinner after the ceremony up to 60 guests correct? Was this good/fun? Did you have to pay for anything at all for this? 8.) Last but not least...HOW DID YOU GUYS DECIDE BETWEEN COLONIAL AND ELEGANCE??? I have nooo clue which I would choose...anyone have pros / cons for each?   9. Hey everyone, Â I am trying to decide to have my wedding at Majestic or Dreams Palm Beach....I don't know much about the private receptions at Dreams. Can anyone help me? Does anyone have any emails from the W.C. on specific places/prices for the private parties? I am planning on having anywhere from 30-60 if that matters? Any info. would be greatly appreciated! Thanks p.s. I am looking to have it in june 2011 so I'm getting nervous that I haven't confirmed a date anywhere yet!

  14. I just got engaged and am seriously considering Jamaica (especially ochos rios) to be the location. I heard good things about the Riu. Does anyone have ANY input or recommendations either about the Riu or any other resort?? I have never been out of the country so anything is useful. Thanks!
