Hello Susan1672, This is part of a review from one of the Beach brides. Hope this helps! Day Trip: A+ We organized a tour with Dream Catamarans to take our group out for a half day. We didn't book in advance and we planned the trip with our ACV rep at the hotel. We were able to negotiate a 10% discount for our half day trip and it came to $60/person. The boat was fantastic and takes you out to a croal reef for snorkelling then to Jimmy Buffet's Margariteville to swim and go on the slide/trampolines in the water. The boat was open bar as well which was awesome! We had an amazing time and I would HIGHLY recommend this day trip!

Ladies, this is an email I received from Janielle. I am a little upset because I thought we did not have to pay for Rashel or a florist. And I thought the package stated you could get a white or red rose bouquet. What did you guys think about this? Below are her responses in blue. Hey Janielle, Sorry, for some reason I thought make-up was included in the package. I will be using Rashel Edwards to do my makeup. I've been told she has visited the proeperty a lot. I was also told because she is just coming and not eating that there is no fee for her. Is this correct? Unfortunately she will not, the discounted rate of US$100 will apply Also, Nicole at the Suites property is telling her brides that if the florist does not stay and eat and just drops off the flowers then they do not have to pay the vendor fee. I understand paying the fee for the DJ because he will be staying for a couple of hours but not the florist who is just dropping off flowers. Can you please clarify this. This only applies to Tai Flora the florist that we recommend. Sorry, the last part in the other email was a little confusing. I was just saying that because I am still paying for the package and cant get a partial credit that I would still like Tai flora to provide: 1 white rose bouquet and some boutineers. Hope this is clearler. Only a tropical bouquet and boutonnière is included in the package. Anything else is considered an upgrade and will attract an additional cost.

You can use any florist. However there is a $100 vendor fee at the Grand. I am not sure about the other 2 properties. If you use Godfrey Guy he will pay the fee.

I thought I remember her saying that my resort was close to the store so I could come and pick it up but I can not find that email. You would need to ask her about delivery. Hey ladies I wanted to post this here to see if I would get some more responses! Ok ladies so I have a concern. With all the great reviews that Rashel Edwards (the makeup artist) is receiving I will feel like a fool if I do not book her for my wedding. Especially since she does airbrush and false lashes. I heard that the spa at Iberostar does not apply false lashes, (that makes no sense to me) and I HAVE to have my lashes lol. However, I do not know about the other 2 hotels but the Grand package includes make up with it. I feel like to pay for her to come and do my makeup and for her travel would be crazy because I am already paying for it in the package. Especially since I have already upgraded or am not using a lot of the things that come with the package, for example: I am bringing my own photographer and videographer, I am not using any flowers included in the package, I am getting married on the staircase so I will not need the huppa are the flowers included with it, and I am paying extra for chavri chairs What do I do? So, I was thinking maybe I could use my make up session for the TTD the next day and just make sure to use waterproof makeup. How does that sound? Do you think the wedding coordinator would go for that? Also, since I am not using digipix and I was already told that I cant get refunded or have something extra for that part of the package, I was thinking about using them to take pictures of one of my guest. Her birthday is the day after the wedding and I do not want her to feel like I forgot about her on her birthday. So maybe the could come and take some pictures of her and her husband and she can pick 12 and have them, instead of me just saying oh no I do not need your service. lol Do you think the resort will go for that? Sorry I have so many questions but paying $3000 for this package and not using all of it is really killing me. Thanks for your help ladies! Another question, does Tai Flora really take into consideration that we are upgrading our flowers when we order something that is not in the package or do they just quote us the regular price? Hey Brown Barbie, I was totally set on the micro braids but my mother and fiance are totally against it. I actually found someone close to me that does a wonderful sew-in with a closure and her work looks great. I think I am going to do a trail run with her with regular virgin Indian hair and then use the Virgin Brazilian Wavy hair for the wedding. Thanks so much ladies for all your support!

Hey ladies, Ok so I really need yall (sorry I'm for GA lol) help! I have a disorder which causes my hair to thin. Sorty like male pattern baldness. So, deciding on a hairstyle for my wedding is really hard. I only have a few options I believe. Option # 1. A full sew-in. Now I had a sew in before but she left my front edges out before and this was not good because my hair is so thin that I always have to make sure the tracks were not showing (and a lot of the time they were) Now everyone loved my hair but no one new all the trouble I was going through. So with a full sew-in I would not have to worry about that. However, with a full sew-in I believe I will be restricted and what I could do with my hair. For example, I would not be able to put it up in a ponytail and I will not be able to get wild (lol) during the TTD. Option # 2. Get micros with human hair and style it in a side messy bun for the wedding. Ladies, what do you think it best? Do you know of any other options? Thanks so much LaToya

I have a feeling ladies that there is going to be a big catch to this. It does not include the reception, hair, make-up, marriage license, and a lot of other stuff that the regular package has. I am still waiting for them to respond. I received an email from Janielle Feurtado (the new wedding coordinator) yesterday regarding an email I sent them the same day I asked about the free package. She responded to my first email but has not responded to the one regarding the free package. I will keep you ladies posted.

OMG Mrs. DeAngelis2be. I saw this on my travel agent facebook page awhile back ago but she stated for new bookings only. There is no where on there site that states for new booking only. So I have emailed Ms. Thomspson and the other planner at the Grand. I so hope they let me do this. Saving $3000 will be so helpful. Thank you so much for posting this. Pray that it comes through!!!
