We're staying at The Reserve because we have a timeshare as well- the food is all inclusive and you can go to the restaurants at the main hotel.

So I have completed 2 weeks of P90X and had to stop bc I lost 15 pounds. I am fairly thin- my start weight was 115- I just needed to tighten and tone and gain some muscle. I went to drs for a checkup and I was shocked when I weighed in at 100 pounds. I made the nurse weigh me on another scale because I was certain it was broken. WRONG! I rushed home and tried on my dress and sure enough it was falling down- I haven't worked out in the last 3 weeks and have managed to put 5 pounds back on. I'm hoping to start back up but do the Lean version this time just so that my tummy is toned. Â So all I have to say is P90X definitely works if you stick with it- I haven't weighed that in my adult life and have never been able to lose weight. Good luck ladies! Keep pushing 'Play!'

No. I'm terrified of needles and I'm not too into the whole 'fake' look. Although, if I was in an accident or something happened to me I would opt for plastic surgery for reconstruction. No enhancement for me! Â Would you ever adopt your siblings (or fiance's siblings) if for some reason their parents were unable to care for them?

Passports came today! YAY! Glad to check that off my list- Â Managed to gain 5 pounds over the last couple weeks. Took my dress yesterday to an alterations lady to get quoted. I was expecting 150 + but she said that she could do it for *drum roll* $60.00! I am ecstatic. She said not to bring it until 2 weeks before I leave in case I gain any more weight or lose any more. Apparently because my dress doesn't have any tulle or puffiness under it it will only take her a day or 2 to alter. Â So this week has been great! Â I've been playing around with different hairstyles as I'm doing my own hair for the wedding. For the ceremony I want my hair in a low messy bun and then for the TTD which we are having immediately after the ceremony I want to let my hair down- Only problem is each time I simulate this I get a crease in my hair which flattens the curls. Â Any one know of any good hair product? I've been using Garnier Fructis XX volume. I know the product probably has something to do with the crease but I have to use something or I will lose all my curls. Â I wish I had OOT bags to put together- Your ideas sound so cute. I'm definitely the arts and crafts kinda girl- Even though its just the two of us for our day I'm going all out on things like monogram, luggage tags, etc. Â It won't be long til OCTOBER!!!!!

You can choose to have the WC translate for you at no charge or have a relative/friend read translation free of charge. Â We are also staying at the Reserve. Although its further away from beach it is newer and I have heard that it is more luxurious. We leave October 23 2010- I'll be sure and give you plenty of details. Â Â

I had my conference call with WC yesterday. I wanted a song played while I walked down the aisle and they wanted to charge me 130.00 to rent the equipment to play a 2 minute song. I was like "it's not like I'm having a reception and using the equipment for hours." She's going to check for me- be sure to ask the price of everything because I've heard from many other brides that they will try and nickel and dime you.

Yea, I've got Cemone Glinton too. I'm doing the Wish package. I'm actually already married- have been for almost 3 years. My husband and I had a really informal no guest wedding because we were really young and he was in the military. We are finally having our honeymoon and decided to have a wedding experience too. We renew our vows on Oct. 24th. Â So far I've gotten the dress, shoes, half of groom's outfit, created planning website, etc. I'm working right now on finding a bouquet- the resort wants to charge me an outrageous 200.00 for a bouquet. I may make my own and bring it. Â We're using HDC photography and doing a TTD session. That has been the biggest splurge so far. Thanks CJ. Â Well POOP! The WC said that the resort considers the complimentary tropical bouquet to be National Flowers of the country. Any other arrangement, tropical or not, is extra. She sent me a picture of what it would look like and it is disgusting. Its basically carnations, yellow sunflowers, and some strange orange flower. I don't see how carnations and sunflowers are the national flowers (especially since Kansas is the sunflower state ) The other thing that perturbs me is that they make the bouquet based off of what flowers grow seasonally so I wouldn't know what it would look like until I get there. So its either pay 203.00 for the bouquet I want or suffer with the free 'mystery' bouquet. Is anyone bringing their own bouquet with them? I've heard some brides using real touch flowers. I'm on a budget but I don't want to regret my flower choice. Â Very Unhappy.

Oh! I didn't see it. Too bad our trips won't overlap. I get there the 23rd and leave the 30th. I really like your planning site. It is beautiful and lively. You truly put a lot of work into it. Thank goodness I'm not the only one. I'm starting to feel a little bit better. I've been watching lots of island-y chick flicks (50 First Dates, Couples Retreat, etc) to try and get to me to brighten up. Besides, I guess with every resort there are some bad reviews written- I was just shocked at how bad the most recent ones were. Hopefully we will both have great experiences. From what many of the brides wrote in the original thread it seems like everything went without a hitch. When is your date? If mine is before yours (10/24/10) I'll be sure and write a review.

CJ- Paradisus Palma Real. I didn't see it on your map but it might be cut off. That is a great resource to have. Sounds like you've been busy! Â So my WC e-mailed me with an invoice for 298.00 which was a complete shock because we are doing the complimentary wedding package. The invoice was for our cake and bridal bouquet choice which are explicitly stated to be complimentary. I chose a tropical bridal bouquet from their website (as the wording states the complimentary bouquets are tropical) but she says its "upgraded" so its 200.00. GRRRR. I am so mad. I love that bouquet. I e-mailed her and explained my reasoning. Hopefully she'll give it to me as it was on their website. Ladies- Â I'm officially freaking out. I was feeling gloomy about my wedding planning as I've spent the last 2 days looking for a song for me to walk down the aisle to without any success so to lift my spirits I decided to look at pictures of the resort on tripadvisor. BIGGEST MISTAKE!! Instead of being comforted by the beautiful pictures of the beach and palm trees I saw several bad reviews people had written from their recent trips. I know that people can exaggerate and I've been pretty level headed all along but now I'm starting to really worry. What do you guys think? Anyone been to the resort yet for pre-wedding arrangements or anything? I really need a pick me up. Â
