    Beautiful wedding! Congrats to you and your husband. Seeing pictures and your review gets me even more excited. We leave in a week! And we are having our reception dinner at the fondue restaurant. There are only 20 of us. Do you think it wil be fairly private there? I love your flower too!!!. Did the resort provide those or did you bring your own? Very nice wedding. Angela

    I am wondering the same thing. We are having 20-25 people, Sept 8 2010, hard time deciding which one too. I think we may go for the Italian restaurant. It looks really nice inside and pasta usually goes over well with everyone. Good luck

    I found my maggie dress at Bridal Debut south location. I actually ended up buying it off the rack, it was discontinued the same week it was brought in and I bought it...so not many people tried it on and a fabulous price. Great selection, and very helpful. The lady in alterations is very nice and very knowledgable. Good luck in all your planning everyone!

    Very nice idea, I may have to do the same. Gets people excited for the wedding I can't seem to read what it all says though cause on my computer its small. Know any way to make it bigger?

    I would look at Moments that Matter Photography. They are a Canadian couple that moved to the Mayan to do wedding photography. They have been easy to work with through email and their work is beautiful. Good Luck

    Speaking of photographers...has anyone seen a portfolio of the resort wedding photographer? I am interested to see what the style is like. If anyone knows, could you please let me know? Thanks

    Hi I have gone to Wedding World. THey do have a big selection, but not a lot of "hounding" help when I went (which is ok sometimes). I was looking for bridesmaid dresses and they do have many to choose from of all the popular bridesmaid companies. I bought my wedding dress from Bridal Debut in Edmonton (south side location) and the girl there was patient and let me try on lots of dresses. I bought my Maggie dress off the rack discontinued the day it arrived in the store of $550. I guess right time right place. Good luck with your shopping.

    Just wondering if anyone has ordered their dress or bridesmaid dress from House of Brides The prices are reasonably much less than ordering from a bridal shop. Just wondering how reputable they are. Thanks

    It is a bit pricey for the beach wedding right in the sand if you rent all the extras. I just wasn't sure how private the beach would be. The gazebo looks really nice and seems to be a bit more private. Then again I don't know...decisions. And yes the on site photographer is pricey. I have been looking at Moments that Matter Photography, very nice work and pretty good pricing for what you get. I was last quoted 4 hours for $2000 and you get all the pictures. Has anyone received pictures of the wedding cakes they make at the resort?

    Where is everyone getting married at the GRP resort? The gazebo looks really nice, but was wondering if anyone has decided on the beach in the sand?
