    So I haven't started researching flowers whatsoever, but I notice that a lot of people have DIY flowers or order them from various websites, etc. I didn't realize that some flowers may not be fresh so I was just wondering what the reason/benefits are of doing this. I realize that you get to keep it and it won't wilt in the heat but anything else? Thanks

    I know that their free pen has vistaprint on it. But what about all the other stuff - postcards, magnets, etc. does it have vistaprint written on it as well? Thanks!

    Mine is in Palmeras. Since we are staying at the palace I figured that would make sense. However, I know very little about the layout or other options as I haven't seen any pictures. But we are flying down there tomorrow night for our site visit so I will try to take as many pictures as possible. If there's anything in particular you want to know, let me know and I can ask (although we might have different coordinators). I'll share my pictures as soon as I get back next week.

    Diamondpooch - what made you decide to have the reception at the Mariachi grill instead of Palmeras? I just haven't seen either so just curious of the differences. Thanks!

    So, I realize this may be a stupid question, but are table runners only for rectangular tables? I like the way they look but I want round tables. If they are, is there any way to decorate a round table aside from center pieces? Thanks so much!

    I'm actually going there next weekend so I will try to take as many pictures as possible also. Beth - When you were there in July, how was the weather in the evenings? Was it really hot or does it cool down a bit?

    Does anybody know what people/companies use to cut out "professional" (ie non diy) invitations? Is it some sort of die-cut machine? Just curious as they are always flawless

    For dinner - do you have to pick a salad, soup, entree and main dish? Or can you have 2 salads?

    I would like to second the whole ignoring thing. Sometimes I have to ask multiple times and then he gets mad bc my of my tone. He usually says he didn't hear me but common, I'm certain he heard the play by play of the football game

    I think it's completely inappropriate and that your FI needs to talk to him. Especially if you are not inviting your own friends, in the hopes of keeping it small. I don't look at it as a random vacation and especially if you have other events planned throughout the week, you will have no choice but to include that person. Good luck!!

    Does your FI agree that it's all a bit much? B/c if he does, maybe he can sit down and talk to her and explain that you are starting your family so you can't financially do that AND pay for her bills (that's an issue all on its own imo).
