Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear about this! Hopefully you can get a correction letter sent out to your guests, and somebody will call the doctors office and apologize.

The wedding planners are super busy. Try to be patient with them. Sometimes calling them is a better bet, and they'll answer your questions on the spot that way!

We are doing 1 per couple, but we're giving them out at our bon voyage party the night before we leave. This way I'll have 1 less checked bag to worry about, and it will have the information our guests will need when they land in Cancun, because we have a private bus chartered for them to get to the resort.

I'm doing parasols for my girls! Seems like a waste of money to buy all those flowers when they can't be brought back into the states, and if I buy them real touch they'll spend forever on a shelf somewhere. If you're looking for inexpensive parasols the knot sells them cheap.

I find it strange that there was a time when tiny sizes didn't exist, but I guess that's how our culture has changed. Something that I keep in mind about this is the fact that I am MORE than just apantsize. If I can get up in the morning and feel beautiful, then who cares what is written on the tag in my jeans? You ladies should be proud of who you are, because it isn't the size of clothes you wear that makes you, it's who you are.

Wow, it's been a while since I checke on things in here! Congrats on all of the weight lost ladies, that is so awesome! And don't worry about the walmart lady, I'm sure she isn't educated enough to realize that she was being rude. Some people shouldn't be allowed out in public. You guys just sent me into panic mode. I need to get a new swimming suit too, but want to get down one more dress size first. I went jean shopping because I put on my fat jeans the other day and they fell off. Only lost 25lbs and went down to a size 14/16(depending upon the brand..silvers run notoriously small). HURRAY!! One/two more pant size and I should be back into my cute clothes. There's nowhere that has bathing suits in stock around here anymore though, any suggestions?

I will be walking up to Cannon in D major. This will be played by my wonderful and talented friends that are part of my symphony, so they're coming and playing as our wedding gift. I thought this would be a personal touch, because it's something that I can do for my Hubby....as for leaving, we will either be dancing out to Starfish by Sister Hazel or to Wagner's Flight of the Valkyre. Long story on that....god we're cheeseballs.

We will either be dancing to Colorful by the Verve Pipe or Cruisin' by Smokey Robinson. Both are beautiful and neither are traditional. We're all about different.

We're doing immediate family and members of the wedding party only. This way it will still be intimate and we'll have plenty of time with our guests!

HAHAHAHA!!! I almost bought those Tums....but FI said they wouldn't fit into the kits with everything else . I did find some cheap centerpiece vases tonight. I was soooo pumped! They don't look cheap at all! Hurray for frugality! (Is that a word? Whatever, it is in Brandyland.)

So, I made a trip to th dollar tree (everything for $1 store)and got some great finds! Aloe after sun gels, hand sanitizers, oh sh*t kits, and mini packs of advil, tylenol,and pepto...all in name brand! If you ladies have a dollar tree in your area, I strongly suggest checking it out!

Oh ladies...I have some funnies for you, as the plot has just thickened. we went in this afternoon to speak to our venue to see about altering our date. Walked in and the woman in charge of our account is no longer there, so we were ushered into the office of "Becky", the most b*tchy woman I have ever met. It seems that they "misplaced" our contract, so she had no record of us even having a reception booked and a deposit down. I'm not going to lie, I went into a total Bridezilla meltdown on the woman, tears, colorful choice of language and all. Miraculously about this time her assistant went through all of Wendy's (our former event planner) files and found the contract. However, by the time she produced a copy of the document I was nowhere near consolable. Sounds awful, right? Well, yours truly was livid at this point, and this is where I used my "horrible trauma" to my advantage. I was already in tears, and so I started talking about how badly this was affecting my big day, and how unprofessional it was that they couldn't even keep track of my file and get things in order. Long story short, they bumped my date up to February 13th for our AHR, and I got a 50% discount on all catering and alcohol because of their mistake. God I want to call Kayla and thank her for saving me a few thousand dollars by just being a vindictive callous excuse for a human being.

Hmm....okay, let's see if I can keep track of all of this... Accomodations for me and FI--$2100 Wedding fees--$2000 Catering and liquor (AHR)-$4000 Flowers (real touch)-$295 I LOVE THIS PRICE! DJ-$495 (friend of the family) Photographer-$500 (BRILLIANT starving photographer just starting his business) OOT Bags/Favors-$1000 Wedding party gifts-$800 AHR decorations-$1000 Total--$12,190 before wedding bands. All wedding attire was paid for by the parents. I guess this isn't too bad considering that we got a lot more for this amount than we would have gotten having a wedding at home.
