I searched for bridesmaid cards, still on a search for them...or I may have FI make them. If anyone has come across any cute thank you for being my bridesmaid cards, I would love it if you would share. Anyway, while I was searching I came across a great website. It has cute poems for mother/father of the bride, bridesmaids, groom.....and the list goes on. I've read a lot of things too about her, I read that Chandelyn....i think thats her name (the coordinator before) was excellent. I'm not saying the new coordinator is bad, but maybe she just needs to get situated in her position. I'm just crossing my fingers that she is nice and easy to work with. *Fingers Crossed*

Jess...that's tough...hopefully they can agree on something, that makes it hard on you. I'm sorry. Can you maybe suggest something you like and say you would really like it if they wore that? Island bride- that's nice of your MIL to foot a lot of the bill, but i agree a sea blue would look nicer...more beachy. Well i'm sure it will look fine and you'll be having your dream wedding, so that's all that matters. Everything will work out just fine! simplnsweet- that would be so great if ppl would post pictures, it would be very helpful. I feel like i'm stalking peoples photos from their weddings to spy what their parents wore. Haha, sad i know.

I'm using Brian Nejedly as my photographer. I believe his website is briandesign.com He responds very quickly and i felt he was better priced than many photographers I researched. A lot of people on this site included them in their reviews. Good luck!

I would sit her down or if you are far away and she wont listen write a letter....tell her you appreciate the thought, but that it is not what you want. You would love to do some of the planning together, but would like something more casual to celebrate. Hopefully she will understand! I have the same anxiety issues....my mother was disappointed at first, but she seems to be okay with everything now and we're doing a luau style at home reception so its more casual. Good luck!

I agree with the others...... I think Dr. would sound awkward when they introduce you as a newly married couple. I am in my last year to get my doctorate degree as well and I would not feel comfortable being addressed as Dr.at my wedding ....it's too formal. Mr. & Mrs. sounds much better in this situation. I do agree that you should be addressed as Dr. on your mail. Congrats by the way on that accomplishment!

Hey ladies! I am having a photographer in Jamaica come in to take pictures for our wedding instead of Michael. In september 2009 i emailed nora at the riu montego bay and asked if it was okay to do that. She said it was fine and the only fee there would be is a 100 dollar day pass. I guess Nora is no longer working there. When i spoke with sherika she said there is a 200 dollar vendor fee for the photographer. I didnt put budget for that extra 100 dollars. I went to look for the email nora sent me stating that we only had to pay for the 100 dollar day pass, but my fiance deleted it from his email account ( go figure). Just wondered if any of you other ladies ran into this 200 dollar vendor fee? I emailed Sherika and asked if she could waive the 200 dollar vendor fee since we were only told about the 100 dollar day pass as the only fee. Hopefully she waives it and we only have to pay the day pass.....
