I need to make up my damn mind already! hehe thanks for the great tips. I will post lots more pick when I return! XOXO
  2. I think diferent lengths are OK! I actually like seeing the differnt styles of the BMs.
  3. I love this thread! I can't wait to find some sashes for Feburary 2011 and post them back after the wedding. I have no color preference but would love to have 50 sashes! Thanks in advance. Cheers
  4. Feb 20th here! We are hoping for the Princess in PDC! So stressed that we don't have a site picked. Orginally we booked Porto and are realizing that it is a little too expensive for our guests! I hope the prices go down a little. Lots to do!
  5. We are going with the message in a bottle invites but are only sending them to people who submitted a tenative RSVP (30 or so) If we sent them to everyone we would not be able to afford to get married! THe whole idea can be created for a small amount of money if well researched. Corks, paper, boxes or tube can all be found for pretty cheap on out internet. We are even using mini corona bottles that we have been collecting for a few months. We just had to change our beer brand temperarly. We found tubes that are really cheap and are only putting the info inside the bottle. Others are including lots of cards, info and other stuff. I have also seen small boxes that look great too and you can ad anything inside with the bottle. I would think the boarding passes would take longer unless you had a template which are easy to find on this site. Then you just ad your information to make it your own.
  6. Beautiful job! I love your dress, hair invites.....I just love it all! Ha ha I am in love with a redhead too! hehehe

  13. I think this is my dress! It is exactly what I wanted! I booked a flight to shop for dresses in AZ and cant get out of if so who knows what will turn out but as of now this is the one! It is a Bari Jay style 69927. They have some amazing dresses. Cheers
  14. So I ventured out and went dress shopping again and it was really fun. I tried on some different styles from before and I thought I would try some halters and strapless styles Please excuse the giant burn mark on my arm. I caught it while pulling breadout of the oven the other night! Ouch! I hope it goes away in time for the wedding. Let me know what you ladies think! I was suprised that I liked the Maggie. There was a little too much material for me but I could have that changed. It wasn't laced up at the time it isn't on completely. (#1) Here is one of the halter top dresses #2 Here is a second halter which would deff need lots of taking in in the chest. I guess I am not filling enough! #3 Thelast is like the first but without the length and material, I don't know if I like the flowers or crystals better. The first pic I the dress is not fasened but the second two the woman came and helped me into it. #4
  15. Lace dresses rock especally for DWs! The Allure one your looking at is beautiful!
  16. OK so my Fi and I moved to Vegas 2 years ago from San Diego because of our jobs with the hopes of one day moving back. Since we have been in Vegas we have been able to buy a house, save some money and get engaged and actully have a wedding. In SD it would have been possible but very difficult with out jobs and cost of living. So needless to say life here has been good but not SD good. So this job opened up that I would love to have in San Diego but I have been scared to apply for it. I had completed almost all of the application online but was not finisihing it for some reason. So yesterday I got really pissed off at my work because of my schedule next year and I finished the application. I am a high school teacher and I am teaching 4 different classes. That means four lesson plans every day. I love my job but this would just be a nightmare. It is my second year teaching I am just figuring out how to write lesson plans. So first thing this morning I recieved an email and they want to interview me. Exactly what I was scard of. We are getting married in Feb and need to save every penny. How can I move now? I feel as if this is my dream job and my FI still has work here. Our life wasn't that great there because we were always working but now we would have different jobs. A long distance relationship might also have to come out of this for a while until Chris could find a job in SD. I also have to study for this stupid test that I have on Friday yet I can't focus on Calculus right now to save my life. If I don't pass this test I wont even be able to consider this job. Sorry I am just venting and needed to get it all out.
  17. I ran across this website that offers 50% discounts at El Dorado resorts and 20% spa services. Might be something to look into if you have a little extra time upon arrival and don't mind touring the timeshare. Not sure if it is wort it but I ran ito it on a bride and groom's; website and thought I would post the info. Cheers Friends in Paradise Program Trial Exotic Travel: Friends in Paradise
  18. Wow thanks ladies! LOL I have very very curly hair that straightens and curls well but the humidity is not my friend. I grew up in Houston so I know what it is like but not I live in Vegas the dryest place on earth so I have gotten spoiled. I don't want to put my hair up so I don't know what to do. =( Is is really humid in Feb? ha ha
  19. Thas really funny! I would have fun with it. My name is also Stephanie and my FI is Kelly but Kelly is his last name but we all call him Kelly. So I will be Stephanie Kelly. His ex of 5 years was Kelly and thank goodness they didn't marry becasue of the obious and her name would have been Kelly Kelly! haha
  20. Here is the website for one of the options! I believe it is restricted by resorts. So if your site is El Dorado or Azul It might be worth it for the bride and groom because the stay is typically longer. Exotic Travel: Friends in Paradise
  21. A saw on someones website that they were giving thier guests an option to sit through a 90 minute timeshare presentation in order to recieve 50% off hotel at an AI. Has anyone of you heard of this or know about this? I have searched everywhere on the forum and found nothing. I don't want to put my guests through that torture yet now that I thinking about it it wouldn't be a bad deal for us if we had the time before our guests arrived. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
  22. My date is Feb 20th. Ha I am right between you ladies. I wish we could split the cost but the lucky photographer would get three weeks in the riveria maya. Let me know what you guys find. Right now I am looing into Sascha. I actually ran into is web site a few weeks back and feel he would be perfect for our event. We are only looking to have a few pictures taken at the ceromony and then maybe around the resort, and we don't have a bridal party. Here is his site. Wedding Photographer Sascha Gluck for Cancun and the Riviera Maya, Mexico Form/ good luck
