What a fitting place to get married! Congrats and welcome to the forum! You'll be able to find answers in no time. Watch out though, you'll finf yourself logging onto the forums when you're supposed to be doing something else...like working.

Don't rely solely on trip advisor! I think the majority of people who end up reviewing resorts on there just want to complain. Seriously, every resort can't pelase everyone. When you're on a vacation, sit back and relax! People nit pick too much I think. Now that my vent is over...on a different note, WELCOME TO THE FORUMS! My advice to choose a resort: pick a country, then go to the country to resort shop! It'll be the best shopping trip, EVER!

I say, the worst that could happen is that you don't get a seat on the flight back, and you have to stay in Jamaica for a few additional days. Awww...what a shame that'd be, eh?

All these great ideas to do...but May 2010 *seems* so far away! Our wedding is May 5, 2010, and I bet I'll finally get around to using some of these ideas in or around April. That's just the way I am. If my name wasn't Tina, it wouldn't be in the word procrasTINAte. *YAY* MAY 2010 BRIDES!!

It's so great to see that the world is FINALLY realizing that love is love...regardless of who it's between. Congrats to the happy couple, first of all! When I was helping to plan my friends' stag n doe (jack n jill, buck n doe, doe n' doe, etc), I was prepared to drop a lot of money, just to donate to the cause. I never asked to be reimbursed, because I would have just given the money back to them in any event. Because we were the ones planning it, I budgeted a few hundred to blow on the couple and was happy to do it, because in the end, the stuff I donated ended up raising hefty coin for the cause. We had hockey jerseys, an iPod, a basket of Bath & Body Works stuff and of course a cooler of booze.

I know, eh? We are having a DW so we can avoid planning, then this idea comes around. MORE planning! I think I'm just going to sit back and see if the wedding party throws one for us. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't! No additional planning for me either way.

They look awesome! If I got one of those, I'd RSVP right away! Wanna send one my way?? j/k Your guests are going to love them!
