My FI and I are having trouble choosing a song too, so if you have one that is "your" song then definitely go with that one! For some reason we don't really have a song, so it is quite hard to pick something we are both happy with... so far! (We have lots of time to decide still.)

I agree, we are getting married in April 2010 and are planning on asking our guests to RSVP by Jan 2010, that way I have a good idea of numbers when I start confirming plans with the Weddnig coordinator at the restort. Like Meg&Shay said, I think people should understand that b/c it is away, we need to know a little earlier than a traditional at home wedding.

Hi Everyone!! I was wondering if I too get get an email of the flower pictures and price lists. I'm not sure exactly who has them anymore... but my email is [email protected] Also, have any of you put a deposit down at the resort yet? All we have done is put down deposits with the travel agent for flight/hotel, and I've recieved an email from Paloma that we have a date, time, location etc, but how confirmed is that? I'm just fretting a little over this 3 months before your wedding date before we talk to you business! Is this how things all panned out for you?? Thanks, Julie

Hrmm, I'm sorry it didn't work for you ladies I was doing all of those steps on my computer as I wrote them just to make sure it would work and it went ok. I don't know what else to do?! I was so hoping to help out.... Sorry

On the left hand side of the window it should say "File tasks", "Extract all files", click "Extract all files". Follow the instructions of the Extraction Wizard, it should be extracted to your desktop unless you change the folder location. It will aslo prompt you to open the extracted file... say yes. 5. When that window opens, hit "Folders". On the left hand side of the window, select "My Computer" and then "Control Panel". You should see things like "Administrative tools", "Fonts", "Network connections". Click and drag the font file, into the "Fonts" folder. 6. It should now be in the Font folder, (open the folder and look for the font just to be sure) and when you open any word processing program (like Publisher/Word etc) it should be there!! I hope this helps and isn't too convoluted of a way to get the font, it's the only way I know how and I've downloaded many fonts in the process of making my monogram and invitations. It's worked every time for me! Good luck Julie

We have been back and forth over this one too, and are now probably going with the I-Pod or the computer idea. We are curious how to fade the songs on the I-Pod though, still have to look into that. As for the speeches and announcements, we are doing what others have mentioned, just giving the job to someone to get everyones attention and announce. We think our numbers are going to be smaller anyway, so it shouldn't be too tricky hopefully! This way we save some money that can go toward other things in the budget.

Ahh, Ten Thousand Villages... I LOVE that store!! I didn't even think to look for my bags there, but like others, I would need a few more than you needed. My Dollarama ones will do just fine... I hope!?!

Keira, When did they first start communicating with you... what kinds of things do you have confimred so far? Have they sent you pictures of flowers and restaurants etc? I'm so curious about this part of the wedding and it is so long away still I know, but it's hard not to think about it!! Julie
