Thanks Jess-- I've looked at that thread but it seems most of the ideas there are for larger resorts. Since we'll already be staying at Dreams VM for the wedding week I'm hoping to find something completely different. Some place where cell phones don't work & no TVs! I'd love to be isolated near the beach but surrounded by the jungle. Keep your fingers crossed that I can find it! I'm guessing after a week of being surrounded by lots of people my FI & I will both really want to only see each other! BTW- the locations you are looking at look fantastic! Good luck with making your decision! You are so far ahead of me in the planning department. I'm so impressed that you already have 34 people booked. We haven't even sent out our STDs yet!

Hi Jess & Andi, I was just in PV and had a chance to tour La Estancia and it was amazing! The pool was so tranquil and the rooms were very beautiful. You also can't beat the spa! I've been to that spa on three different trips to PV and love it! One of my favorite spas ever!

Hi everyone, I'm hoping some of you can help me out. My FI and I are getting married in PV & are looking for a secluded honeymoon location not too far away from PV. I looked at Majahuitas and Verana but Verana doesn't open until the month after our wedding. Verana would've been perfect b/c the rooms seemed a bit more updated while still having the quiet of the location. Does anyone know of any other honeymoon locations somewhere within an hour or two from PV that would be similar? Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Jill-- I just booked Paulina for our wedding day. The way I'm looking at things is yes, you could have someone for more hours and more photos but when all is said and done how many of those photos are you really going to have hanging around your house? I'd rather have fewer but excellent quality photos then a larger quantity. After all, while I love looking at my FI I don't think I want to cover every wall in our home with pictures of us from one single day. Plus, I need to save room for honeymoon pics! Just a thought!

I think you should really consider registering for the china. This is your chance to get some great things you would probably never buy on your own. China is timeless and it is a great reminder of a special day.

I was just in PV and my fiance and I went for a tour of Dreams VM. It is amazing! My FI was being grumpy that day and didn't want to get dragged out of our resort to go checkout a guest hotel location. Anyways, once we showed up there his attitude completely changed and he got really excited. The restaurants all look nice and the menus made me hungry. The sushi restaurant on the top of the hotel has fantastic views and cool furniture. We can't wait to stay there for our wedding and know our guests will be blown away!
