  8. I think choosing a resort is one of the hardest things to do. I booked at the Barcelo Complex so if u need any help let me know! Good Luck!
  9. My FI asked my Dad for permission and showed him the ring about a month before proposing. He never talked to my mom (which hurt me and my mom a bit) but my Dad was sooooo happy b/c he was the ONLY one that knew it was coming. My Dad can keep a secret too, I think that if my FI would have asked my Mom it would not have stayed a secret, my mom, sisters and I are very close. It totally threw us off guard my mom, sisters and I were totally shocked! I loved that he did that, asking for permission was very important to me.
  10. Thats great to hear! Thats a big difference!
  11. Hey! I am Colombian and my FI is Puerto Rican. Our ceremony will be in both Spanish and English. My reception will be about 90% Spanish music. The only tradition we are doing is the Padrinos. Which will be my Uncle and Aunt from Colombia (both FI and I love them soooo much). Oh and my FMIL insists on wearing a blue dress b/c her son is getting married, I have never heard of this. I told her as long as its a nice chade of blue I didn't care. Has anybody ever heard of choosing Padrinos for your ceremony?
