  1. Booked my planning trip to Maui with my mom. My sister and mother in law are not going to be able to come with, but it's going to be a blast showing my mom around Maui, and getting the planning moving forward. Looking forward to everything. 5 days, 4 nights, can't wait!!!
  2. Things are going well with the planning process, I've started telling my mom, sister, and future mother in-law all of the ideas that I have. Everyone has been super supportive of my ideas. I'm planning a trip to Maui in July with my mom, my sister might go and my future mother in law might go too. I'm excited to take my mom to Maui. She has never been so I'm looking forward to showing her around and relaxing on the beach. I'm new to all of this, so we'll see how it goes, I think this should be fun! Just over a year to go until we are getting married.
  3. I'm struggling with letting go too, but I have found a great coordinator to work with. Frequent emails with her has been helpful. I am one to want to do EVERYTHING so it's difficult.
  4. Hi, I am looking into a wedding coordinator for my June 2010 wedding. I have searched on the BBB website and the company is not on there. I have checked 3 references from them, and have gotten great responses. They also have been really great about getting back to me, checking up, and I haven't even hired them yet. Any advice about coordinators and how you chose yours would be great. We are getting married at a museum and still up in the air about what restaurant to have the reception at for about 40 people so we aren't choose a particular package. Thank you for the help!
  5. I got engaged in October and had our engagement party in May. Things were great, it was exciting to talk about getting engaged after a while from it happening.
  6. Congratulations! Time will fly by! Happy Planning.
  7. I was back and forth, this sounds like a good idea.
  8. Sunscreen should be the key and use makeup to cover any tan lines from the days leading up.
  9. Hearing all of these comments make me want to have my mom involved in that special moment. I say go for it, especially since you are close with your mom!
  10. It's cute, especially since that is his last name!
  11. welcome, I'm still trying to figure everything out still, but everyone is every helpful!
  12. Congratulations!!! I'm just over a year away from mine, I'm sure the time will fly by....congrats again!
  13. Crystal Lite Lemonade is my favorite thing, very sweet and gives me that gratification an ice cold soda does. (about 5 calories per serving)
  14. The Oreo's are my favorite, crunchy, and chocolate all together!
  15. I'm a school teacher and school gets out in May, my fiance's mom also works at a school doing clerical work and they work for 2 weeks after school gets out so June was perfect. I looked at the Saturdays and picked the 26th of 2010. I didn't like the 19th, it just didn't roll off my tongue as much as 6/26. We are planning far enough out in advance that so far everything is still available.
  16. The local home improvement stores have already sprouted herbs that you could transplant in to pots that match your decor for the reception. You could transplant them the day before and they will look fresh.
  17. These are great ideas, it's nice to have so many things to cross reference! Thank you!
  18. This is beautiful!!! This is a serious consideration for me!
