    When I went dress shopping I tried on several dresses I really liked and thought...well maybe this would work. But when I tried on my dress, I didn't want to take off and knew I had to get it. It wasn't a dress I ever imagined myself wearing but when I put it on I just loved everything about it. I think the dress that you are considering is very pretty and getting a good deal on it is always a plus!

    There are other girls on this forum who had 60+ guests and still had their wedding in the gazebo...I have heard that the beach ceremony is not exactly private but they could have changed that.

    We had to get legally married last month and our official wedding is not until June 12th. We are having a Catholic ceremony and one of the requirements was that we be legally married beforehand and be able to send all of our paperwork 2 months prior to our wedding. We found a woman in our neighborhood who could perform the legal ceremony and just showed up at her house in jeans and a t-shirt and said our "I do's." We wanted to keep it as simple as possible. We haven't really told anyone that we got married, it's just our little secret.

    We were not planning to register either however my FMIL wanted to throw me a shower so we ended up starting a registry at Macy's and Bed, Bath and Beyond. Well we ended up having three showers so far and now our living room is filled with gifts! Plus I know whenever I can't attend a wedding or shower I always send a gift. I think people who can't attend would like to be able to send a gift in their absence.

    We ran into this same issue when we were originally looking for our resort. It was really important to us that our closest friends and family be able to make it to our wedding. We gave them a lot of time to plan and it ended up costing on average $1,000 - 1,200 per person for 5 to 6 days. I think most people were pretty comfortable in that range.

    You can choose to have a private reception on one of the restaurant patios/terraces. I believe that is where you have your dancing as well. They just set the entire area up for the reception. Then after the reception is over you can head over to the disco if you want to continue dancing. I don't believe the gazebo is used for receptions, it is usually where the wedding ceremony takes place. But you can use any of the reception locations even if you are having a beach ceremony.
