  1. This is the one then. It feels like how a sports bra feels. I think regular strapless fits fine under the boobs, but doesn't ever hold the top part up. This one comes up higher like a tube top does so it is secure under and on top of the girls. Only downfall is you can't wear anything low cut or v neck. I basically got it to wear with tube tops and tube dresses anyway.
  2. I know there are a lot of big booby girls here so I had to share. I have always been bummed that in the summer I can't wear cute tube tops or spaghetti straps. I have NEVER found a strapless bra that held the boobage in place. So I was out shopping today and I can't believe I found one! It's made by lillyette, and Kohls had it on sale for $22. It is that really soft microfiber stuff and has underwire and everything. It fits like a tube top and actually holds everything in where it belongs. I'm just being stubborn though. You know how you get an idea in your head of what you want, and won't compromise until you find it? Yeah....thats me with this bracelet search. Don't even get me started on shoes...
  4. Thanks so much gals! Especially for the suggestions! I have tried Etsy, but I get so overwhelmed on there. I typed in crystal cuff bracelet and I get 9875643234567890987654 pages. It is not def between these 3. THE one is at Macys. I saw it a few weeks ago in the King of Prussia Macys for $200. Maybe I'm being a cheapskate, but I can't spend that much on a bracelet. It was exactly what I want though. Eliot Danori makes it and it has 3 large crystal lilies with a big pearl in the center of each. I have checked online and other stores and can't find it for less These are the closest ones I can find that are more in my price range.
  5. I am not sure how I feel about these...any thoughts? http://cgi.ebay.com/Paula-Abdul-FYG-...3%3A1|294%3A50 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...%3DI%26otn%3D2 http://www.hsn.com/paula-abdul/paula...502783_xp.aspx (2 of them are from the Paula Abdul collection, lol)
  6. I made a few last weekend as accessories for my models in my fashion show for school. I did 3 in under 30 minutes, it cost me a total of $15, and I didn't even use a quarter of the amount of stuff I bought. Just used plastic hair combs, ostrich plumes, silk roses, and tulle, hot glue gun to put it all together. It's def worth a try. Go buy a yard of the cheap 1.99 tulle and a bag of plastic combs for .99 to practice with.
  7. You look gorgeous! Can't wait to see more. You said the cake was yummy...what did you get? Phyllis was raving about the pastry chef at 9 beaches and was trying to convince me to go with that location.
  8. I emailed her the link a few months ago, but I don't think she joined. So...any pics yet? I'm DYING to see!
  9. I don't think everyone is "laying into you" about the contract thing so much as how you phrased it. I think there is a tactful way to express your concerns about the issue. I think what happened is you need to be careful not to offend people on here by calling them "tacky." Most people here probably don't pay for those things, making them fall into your "tacky" category. If you really want to do a contract then do it. Just make sure you are careful to come across as sincere in wanting to do something nice for your friends, and that you want them to extend the same kindness to you by honoring their commitments to your wedding.
  10. I am so excited that you met Phyllis. She's my planner! Now I know to expect great things.Congrats on being a Mrs!

  12. Good luck with the surgery. I hope you get to eat tons of "recovery ice cream!"
  13. I just saw it the other day. I have to say I'm not into it at all. It doesn't seem to make any sense. Like, what does Kelly Rowland have to do with the fashion industry? I need my Tim Gunn. He may be the cutest man alive. I just love him!
  14. To all of the BDW mommas out there!
  15. I love the idea of a pig roast. It makes me feel like I'm on vacation even if it's in a friends back yard. So I vote for that one. Only concern would be the guests. It really depends on who is attending. Are your friends and family more of a laid back barbecue style type? Or are they more traditional? I would base it on that.
  16. I think they put Doritos in crack...
  17. Nothing for me. I stayed the same. My little man has been sick since monday, leaving me sleepless (no energy to work out.) Now I'm sick too (still no energy to work out.) But apparently I had enough energy to eat an entire bag of kettle chips! Congrats to all of you "losers" though!
  18. Ugh...I STILL don't have mine!

Sorry for answering back so late. I forgot to check this thread for a while obvio. I got my hair flowers and I love them! I ordered a single white lily, and also a double white orchid (not sure which I will use yet.) I will post pics as soon as I take some. Def a great price for as nice as they are. I think they were only $12-$15 each.
  20. For me it's a money thing. It's so much cheaper. plus it is counting as our honeymoon. We have an 8 month old, so there is no way we could have had time to ourselves on our honeymoon if our family wasn't there to take him some nights for us too.
  21. I LOVEEEEEE that show! How crazy is this...I had a nightmare about a dress that I saw on one of the episodes. I was at my wedding, getting married, and was wearing this $28,000 gaudy Staten Island bride's dress. It was awful. I'm such a dork.
