    OMG! I am so glad i found this thread! Any one who has been way with me for a few days knows that this fits me perfectly! I dont go anywhere without my puzzle book! It keeps me awake!

    In our area, a buck n doe (stag n doe) is traditional. DW or not, its still great to raise funds. They are traditionally organized by the wedding party not the bride and groom. The DW idea we thought would be cheap but it definitely is not!

    i cannot afford to pay for their dresses and a gift. Thus the whole reason i am running to DR to get married!! I will be getting them a gift each as well as pay to get their hair/make up done.

    I am inviting everyone to be fair. They invited me to theirs, I should give them a chance to decide for themselves. If they dont want to come, no hard feelings. If they do decide to come, the more the merrier. We are inviting about 150 people. I am not inviting anyone from work, except for one. I am going to ask her to be a BM though.

    Mayan Bride - i will be hosting an open house / bbq back home after we return. This is to celebrate with the friends and family who could not attend. we will supply the food and drinks. This way it doesnt look like we are asking for stuff (cause were not) we just want the others to feel included in our day.

    Hi everyone, I got a group rate yesterday from my TA (CDN$) Sunwing Jul 20-27,2010 ( flight times tba ) Majestic Colonial - Junior Suite - All Inclusive Adults - $1189.00 + $309.00 tax = $1498.00 total per person Child - $899.00 + $309.00 tax = $1208.00 total per child between the ages of 2 to 12 years sharing with 2 adults ** 21st passenger free - pays taxes only I work at this company so keep in mind they might have given me a bit of a discount on the commission.

    Hi there, I am really on the same page as you. There are a few things that I am going to outline that I want in writing with the WC but other than that, I am leaving the rest until i get there. Things I am going to confirm is the location of the wedding, i want a gazebo not the beach. As well as where i want the reception. I am not stressing over linens, centerpieces, etc either. I am bringing my own IPOD for music. As less stressful as I can make this, and the cheapest!

    I am planning on giving my OOT bag to my guests as they arrive, i want to try and greet them. The fans i am going to have laid out on the chairs at the ceremony. The favours i have not decided on yet. I think i will give it to them at the reception dinner... just a week full of gifts/surprises!
