I don't think it is too spread out, and I'm sure whoever you'll be inviting will understand why it is so many months away. There are a lot of threads on AHR's and I think a lot of girls wait until the summer months. Great, Thanks! lol that makes me feel a little better...
  2. We are thinking about getting married in December, and have a AHR a few weeks later in Jan. The only problem is, Iowa winters are very unpredictable. So it could be decent weather, or we could have a blizzard. Would it be weird to wait until the summer so we don't have to worry about canceling a reception because of a snowstorm? Or would that be odd to spread it out so much?
  3. No, its not too early. My wedding is about 18 months away, and wedding is all i think about!! Plus it's nice knowing I have time to get things right and not completely stress :)

    Hi All

Why did you decide on Riu??
  20. Hi there! My name is Amelia, and I just got engaged last Saturday! My fiance and I have been together for about two years, and we are very excited for this next step. We know we want a destination wedding, but we aren't sure if we want to get married in December 2009 or June/July 2010. We need to budget things out and figure out how much we can save by then. For some reason, my fiance has his heart set on St. Lucia. I think it's because he likes the name. He's a guy, what can i say. We are interested in the all-inclusive resorts, and have heard many good things about it from people we know. We are also intersted in the Sandals "free" wedding. I need help figuring out what i should do and where i should start!
