  1. Are you doing the free dinner or are you having a private dinner?
  2. Wow, I really can feel for what you're going through right now. My FI's sister (also as my bridesmaid) passed away in July and we went back and forth on what to do also. Ours ended up working out due to one of his guys backing out, but you must decide what to do. Not many people understand what's going on with your FI right now and really can't relate. What we're planning on doing is releasing butterflies at our ceremony to represent his sister in memory. I'm sorry for your loss - that's a very, very tough situation. It'll all work out!
  3. Hello Ladies! What are you all doing for centerpieces? Are you even dealing with bringing any decorations down or are you purchasing items from Tai Floral? We are going with the dinner at the Steakhouse, so I'm not sure how much decoration we're going to be able incorporate. Any thoughts?

I'm thinking about stealing your idea and incorporating that into my wedding. We got engaged on a beach in Michigan, so that'd be perfect to get some sand from there and incorporate it with some from Jamaica as well. Thanks!!
  5. The answer might be somewhere to my question in the forum, but what exactly needs to all be sent to the WC?
  6. I really like this idea, I'm just concerned about taking it back on the plane with me. Knowing my luck, the stopper will pop open and sand will fill my suitcase!!
  7. Wesome to the forum. Congrats and happy planning!
  8. Do you all think it's 100% necessary to have the bridesmaids carry a full boquet? how do you feel about a single flower, or something a little less expensive I'm indecisive.... go figure!
  9. I wanted to use something a little more upbeat so we're doing "My Girl" by the Temptations! My Dad raised my sister and I on old twang country and there's a song called "Daddy's Girl" but I just don't think it's too appropropriate for Jamaica. Some people might know the song, but most won't. "My Girl" will just be plain fun! I love it!
  10. That's a very cool idea. Actually my FI sister (and my bridesmaid) passed away suddenly in July so that'd be a very special way to remember her. What's really crazy is that their other sister always says that when she sees a butterfly, she thinks of (her). You totally nailed it Thanks!
  11. Hello! My FI are getting married in Jamaica and the ceremony is only supposed to last at the most, 15 minutes. What are you ladies planning on doing for your ceremony? Have any fun, different ideas? I know I have to have all the normal items in the ceremony, but I'd really like some different ideas on how to personalize it and really make it our own!!! Please help!
  12. WOW! Your pictures are beautiful as well as you. Looks and sounds like the wedding was fantastic. Congrats!
  13. Yes, we went with the free package as well. It seems like there's so many additional little things that don't really matter in the other packages. It's nice because you can add on what you want with the free package. Good luck!
  14. Indigo - Only 4 days away!!!! Good luck with everything and I can't wait to see pictures when you return. Keep your head up - things will only get better from here.
  15. What an awesome idea. I think I'm going to follow suit. They look fantastic and the guests will love them.

  17. What is everyone going to do for the time between their ceremony and reception? My ceremony is at 2 and I personally don't like the idea of having a cocktail hour. I assume that photos will be taken until 3:00, but then what do we do until 6:30? I contacted a excursion/tour company for some ideas, but not many make 3 hour trips. Does anyone have any suggestions for things to do around MoBay for that inbetween time?
  18. I'd love to see some pictures of real weddings if they're available.
