  6. A lot of brides get a second less expensive dress for the TTD session. I think that David's bridal has a $99 special on certain dresses. I say go for it! the pics are awesome!

They are far removed from actually going on the plane and I'm sure it's their policy to say that even though most people will probably get away with it. Just ask the flight attendants and their response will probably surprise you. People are always happy to see people in love! Right on sista! I completely agree with you... We are putting them inside of cute pouches that we found in the bridal section at Michael's. I tried looking online, but they don't have a pic on the web of the ones we purchased. Look at this link so you have an idea... Perle Nouveau™ Pouch These are kinda small, but the one I purchased are much longer, so it fits the shot glass and the bottle and it still has room in case you want to add a small note of something else.. I think that Target and Walmart carries similar pouches in their bridal sections. I can take a pic of the pouches when I get home, If you'll like to see an example. Just let me know...

It's actually ridiculous, they are supposed to be there to help me plan the wedding and have it be my day but they are more concerned with how they look that they don't even care. I am seriously about to order their dresses without them knowing and telling them both to pur thier hair up. I have had my dress for 3 months and not once did they even ask to look at it!!!!Sorry i had to vent.... I went dress shopping by myself and at first I felt weird, but the sales folks were so nice that now I'm glad I did it that way.... I would love to see your dress. Did you post on the forum already?
  15. Sorry to hear that you are having these issue. Focus on what's important to you... Your wedding and the planning process is time for you to be happy and enjoy and if your "friends" can't share this joy with you without bitching and being inconsiderate then you don't need them by your side on such a wonderful day. I've been a bridesmaid 4 times and boi I have to tell you that is tuff, especially when you are in a different city. All the expenses that are associatted with it... however, I loved it and I was so honored that they wanted me to be part of their day... With that said I'll have to admit that we aren't having bridemaids. My FI is having a bestman and I'm not sure if I'll have a MOH... I have friends, but my wedding is so significant to me... that I want to make sure that whoever, is part of it, is someone that truly is someone that honors me and my FI, as much as I honor them. I know that it's probably going to look weird to have a bestman, but not a MOH, but I really don't care... I'm going to have my brother walk me down the aisle and I'll probably just tell him to stand next to me. He'll be my MOH :0)
  16. I love Universal! U guys are going to have a blast! Enjoy and take lots of pic We usually do New Years Eve and day at Disney (expect this year because of the expense of the wedding) and our "friends" give us a hard time... We just love the idea of having the opportunity to bring out our inner child to start of the year!
  17. That's awful! and I they were so cute together... Hope all is ok with her too... what a way to tarnish his image!
  18. We are paying for all the expenses for my FI brother. He is 20 and he's a full time student. We are also helping my brother with this plane ticket and we are paying for my niece she is 10 and she is our flower girl. Not sure if others will be upset over it, so we are just not mention it to anyone.
  19. Hi Welcome to the forum! I'm in Vegas, so feel free to ask me questions. Happy planning.
  20. We are doing personalized towels in the OOT bags with this monograms We included our wedding date and the location as a keepsake, but I didn't want to add our names. We are doing mini tequila bottles and personalized shot glasses for the reception since we are getting married in Mexico. The shot glasses have this monogram. Maybe you can incorporate something that is traditional of DR and you can buy it there, so you down have to travel with it. To personalize it you could add either personalized ribbon or the labels that you mentioned earlier. This site has great personalized ribbons Unique Wedding Invitations, Wedding Favors, and Accessories | Jean M
