Fellow BDW or those also concerned; It seems as if most brides are selecting special occasion sandals/shoes to wear with their dresses. I know for pics, etc you are good for walking in strappy shoes with narrow heels but in the sand, did anyone have issues with their feet getting stuck in the sand, making walking difficult down the aisle, navigating in the sand, etc?

For me marriage is the level of commitment. If you truly are committed and want to put in the WORK and all this big step entails, then why not get married. For practicality purposes, why put in all that time, sweat, emotions and tears, physical stress (pregnancy) if at the end of the day, you have no entitlement/rewards whether living or in the death (God forbid) of your partner. If the commitement is there, then it would not be a big deal.....Interestingly enough it is really amazing that my gay friends want so badly to be married and us straight ones are more and more deciding not to get married. What is wrong with that picture and what does that say for the sanctity of marriage??

We decided that we would not since the financial obligation was sizable already. But if those close to you are mentioning buying something ask that they consider something from their repoirtoire that is in your color scheme! Color is always great for photos anyway----makes your pics even more vibrant

We decided to go with an AI resort that also had WC services available. We figured it would be best to have someone familiar with the ins and outs of the hotel as well as the countryside. I would recommend making a list of things that are important for you and FI in terms of guests and see what your top choice of hotels offer. If they do not have one they may have a recommendation of the ones they contract with for wedding services.

I agree that if you send in advance it woll save you money. Unfortunately for me, if it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all so I opted to pay the $48 to send via Fedex first time around. I just sent mine off and my wedding is March 6th. You cana lways clear up any lingering questions with your WC if you have exchanged emails with her.
