  3. Luckily sent mine in two weeks ago but hopefully it doesnt get delayed because of a rush of new ppl. FI had to deal with that in 2007 when they changed it so you needed one for every where.

Yes, Tiara speaks fairly good english but she has quite an audible accent and if you have seen the ceremony that they do there you will realize that it won't give you that warm and fuzzy feeling that we're all after. My recommendation is absolutely to go with Pastor Rick who does both religious and non-religious ceremonies. If anyone would like to see a sample let me know and I'll e-mail it to you. Pastor Rick is already booked on my day, do you know of anyone else? I asked Tiara but waiting on her reply. Quote: Originally Posted by KPEG 2 hours for hair and makeup eh? FYI I was told 1 hour for hair and make-up but have left in some extra time. Quote: Originally Posted by amygirl1169 We got married last week at City Hall and just had my best friend and my 97 y.o. 6. Welcome GEM! KPEG, i would talk with your photographer first to come up with a timeline. Thats how i figured out what time for my self. If you want getting ready shots, first look shots, some family/BP shots before hand that will increase the time between getting hair and make-up done and the ceremony.

And so she paid the insurance premiums based on that assumed $15,000 value. This is exactly what i was told when i asked about getting an appraisal from the place we bought it from. I was told not got to get it do as it was a waste of money b/c the insurance company will cut a check directly to Kays to replace my ring if something ever happened.
  8. Thanks KPEG for the q&a's! I am not using the photographer they offer, but would email them directly to get the answers to your questions. I think they only provide very limited coverage in the wedding package and any more time would be extra. I would contact the salon soon as i had issues with the time i needed being available but it could be more of a case as there is at least one other wedding the same day. Man that script you got is even shorter, my plan is to start putting something together with the help of this thread.
  9. I think its an ok deal as long as all 160 are great and you have everything that you want. I am paying about double but will get over 900 images on a high res CD and two days of shooting.

We ended up making a boot from plastic so her cast wouldnt get wet. . I kept wishing I was the one with the broke arm instead of her. Hopefully your pup gets better soon!

I asked Tiara who would be the person to perform for $150 (im guess its a pastor or someone to that effect) and will let you know when i hear back. I think if Tiara does it, its free of charge but not sure and don't know if she would add in some more fluff, cause really that would take 2 mins.

So thank GOD he doesn't need surgery or anything- these injuries are common in such a little one. He needs to be in this splint for about 6 weeks. The past couple of days have just been horrible- he just looks at me like, 'Mom, what's happening?' He's being a total trooper though- he's getting along just fine on 3 legs, although sleeping has been very frustrating for him because he has to wear his cone. I think I have cried more about it than he has. In this pic he's a little out of it from the anesthesia. My poor little guy I know how you feel. In Dec my little girl broke her radius and ulna. Went to 3 different vets, spent a ton of money but luckily in the end she is back to almost as good as new, has a bend in her paw b/c of it. One of the vets told us there was nothing we can do and we just have to limit her from going side to side for the rest of her life, i was like WTF she i only 10 months old. Luckily in the end she just had to be in a soft cast for a couple of weeks.

Tiara just sent me it and answered a quick question. It is very basic so hopefully we can add some things to it. Do you have any contact information for the priest that would be performing the symbolic ceremony, if we choose? I have already emailed Pastor Rick but he is already booked up for our day. Unfortunately, a priest does not perform weddings outside of the church. The other option could be to have someone to perform the ceremony. This will cost you USD 150.00 and will be a normal wedding ceremony, like the attached. CEREMONIA SIMBOLICA Ingles.doc

Right now we have the Dreams of Love (Silver) package but most likely will be switching to the Paradise package (free one) as we qualify for it and will be cheaper in the long run, about $1300 right now. A lot of the extras in the Love package I really don't need/want so why pay the extra price. I made an excel to compare the costs of what I definitely wanted to help see it all out. 15. Just heard back from Tiara and thought this info would help. We have 14 people total right now, so if we wanted to do a non-private reception and have the table decorated at one of the restaurants, is that an option? -As you will be 14 people, you will be paying USD 352.80, to eat in one of our restaurants with your wedding party. This is an option, but you will have to pay extra for this. Also, i believe the start time would have to be 6:30. So we are no longer looking at this option as the private dinner is only $175 more and then we can have music and dancing and start when we want to as the sun doesn't set till 7 and we will be taking picture until then. I believe the below info I posted earlier is only is only if you want a couple of tables together and they will not be decorated. As i got this response from Tiara "Remember that we do not have reservation policies in our property. This means that we do not block any space for guests and we do not arrange a table for more than 12 guests." Mine is starting at 4:30, if you have a TA would ask them to contact Tiara as they might have better success.

Earlier this month it took a week the one time and 4 days the other time for her to respond. Would be great for others to keep posting their questions and answers so we all don't keep asking her the same questions. FYI, if you plan on using Pastor Rick, make sure to book early, i waited too long and he is booked up for my day. I asked him if he can recommend anyone else and will let you guys know.
  18. I finally started to email Tiara again after not bother her for a couple of months. I was going to wait to post my question/answers once I heard back from the last email as I got confused on the info but I'll post a couple of them now, hope it helps, her answers are in red. Could we reserve Portofino’s wine cellar for dinner for 10 people? (Tiara D.) We will have to pay USD 200.00 and consume wine there. That will cost you USD 75.00 each bottle. Not sure if you have more ppl if the price would increase but could be a good option for some. If we do not need the Bride’s Bouquet and boutonniere for the groom can I get some other flower arrangement in its place? (Tiara D.) You can change it for a centerpiece. I read that if we do a non-private reception and have 12 or less it is no charge but if you have 13-20 people you have to pay $20 plus 10% and 16% taxes. Is the extra charge only for each person over 12, so for example if i have 16 people total I would only have to pay the $20 plus 10% and 16% taxes for 4 people? Yes.- If we do a private dinner reception could it be held at any of the following: the pier (have seen a picture of a lunch there) or wedding gazebo (another bride said she had her's there) or massage hut (have seen it done at dreams tulum)? For the private dinner reception, if you do it at the pier it could not be more than 12 people. Inside the Wedding Gazebo could not be more 9 or 10 guests.
  19. I'm pretty sure its Annual credit report. Its looks likes the one I have used in the past.

  22. Welcome remdog!!! As for photographers, i'm bring down two that live near me, they have been so wonderful so far and have answered the many questions that i have had. I have full day coverage on the wedding day and a TTD scheduled for the day after.

Right now we are 14 total so hopefully a couple of more ppl come.
  24. I have ordered from [vendor removed due to legal issues] as well and will be saving a lot of money. I am getting my bouquet, 3 hair flowers, 3 bouts and 1 wrist corsage. The only real flowers i will be using will be rose petals for the aisle.
