I'm not surprised you guys have not been sent the form to fill out by Tiara, I think she might of sent it to me b/c i really have not finalized anything beside ceremony time and location.

I was in the same boat but only have received checks so far, so since it was a check I cashed it now and sent out a thank you card. But for gifts I would wait till after the wedding. Placed our order on 3/15 and was at my door on 3/30. We put on the order we needed it by 4/20. I think you would be safe if you order asap but tell them you need it by 4/30 to be safe.

When we were originally going to get married in Mexico I planned to use a photographer from there since their are so many great ones to choose from but when we switched to the DR I did not find anyone i was crazy about. Photography is really important to us so I found a great photographer near me. in the end for the amount of coverage we are getting it would of been the same price as using the hotel's photographer.

I will contact them about the suite jacket though, as the fit is really bad in his butt area, FI has a big butt for his frame and the vent on the back is wide open like 4-5 inch gap when just standing normal.

That's too funny! I read about that show and Jerseylicious in the paper a couple of weeks ago. The salon that Jerseylicious is at is 5 mins away from my parents house and during college I used to work a couple of stores down from it. I heard from someone that went in there recently and said none of them were working their on the sat she went in.

I would check to see how much the box weights and how big it is for the tend and if your airline will let you even check it before you buy.

Thanks everyone! i will cash it and will send out a thank you card now. I'm planning on taking a picture at the wedding with us and "thank you" written in the sand to be our thank you cards so I will most likely send them another thank you card after the wedding with the picture.

I got my dress from Sara's bridal in Branchburg, they offered me the best price, i called around once i found the one, i went to about 8 different places in nj and two in pa.

I'm originally from Somerset county but currently living in Hunterdon and FI is from Camden county so we go down to south jersey quite a bit. We started to look at having our wedding in NJ but quickly realize $20K doesn't get you very far. plus i couldn't justify spending that kind of money on something not even half way decent for just one day. so now we are spending 10K for 8 days in a beautiful setting. Let's def plan a meet up!!!

I'm getting FI a watch as well, he picked out the one he likes and will be buying it next month. We have become really good friends with the manager at the jewelery store we go to and she lets us know when the big sales are coming and even gives us a little bit extra off. We saved over $1000 on the wedding bands because of her. As for the wedding party I bought all of their outfits for the wedding for them and might also buy them something small if I find something I like. Plus they are also getting a towel and mug that everyone else will be getting for the OOT bags. As for my parents I am thinking of getting them a couples massage at the resort for their gift.
