I decided to send two different invites in the end. Because I do agree people are sentimental and I dont want to disappoint them by not sending them anything. So I will send two but only the really nice time consuming one to the people who are coming to Playa Mujeres. Thanks ladies for all your help!

I could'nt afford to pay for the travel espenses of my wedding party either. My friends are excited to come and have booked there trip already. Most likely your wedding party members will desire to be there soo bad that they will pay there own way. Dont stress it if they are meant to be there they will find a way.

I too had the same problem and when it was all said and done I choose to have my wedding where I originally wanted to have it. The reality is you can't do this day over if you dont get it right the first time. So make your decision based on what you want. Most of your family will do there best to be there an if you have to shell out some money for guest passes for other important people budget that in as you plan your wedding. Hope this helps!

Im probably just gonna send a print your own invite to all the rest of the people who did not book and a nicer invite to the other guest who I know are coming my next decision is now to figure out if I want to diy or buy nice ones. Thanks for your help ladies.

After speaking to someone else who recieved a STD for another destination wedding. I was told to make sure I send invitations to everyone who recieved a STD. If your STD stated formal invitation to follow then you need to send the invitation if they have booked their trip or not. Just something to think about for those who were only sending stds and invites to booked guest.

I actually visited EPM last August to check out there wedding location. The gazebo is at the end of the resort and pretty seculded. In my opinion it looks horrible in all the pics sent by the wedding planner but it is lovely in person without any additions to dress it up. Also there is a beach location if thats what you choose to do but the water isn't quite as nice as other hotel located in Cancun, which is were I stayed over the summer when I visited. The wedding planner Naylie is great and I as completely satified with everything when I visited. If you need pictures I can PM me becasue I took them while I was there.
