  1. Thanks for the posting the link was great I book marked it! Quote: Originally Posted by Simistar Hey ladies! Beautiful colour and good quality fabric...(of course, I don't think they're "real" pashminas, though the label on them says "pashmina")...They were $3.95 each. More info on ordering from them is in my original thread above:-) But seriously -- everyone LOVED them and wore them their entire trip! I plan on posting a thread soon with all the online vendors I used and loved -- and will include pictures so you can see them:-)

  4. I'm looking for a good place to buy like 25-30 Pashmina's. Does anyone have any good contacts? Thanks, Lauren
  5. Were only doing a symbolic ceremony. The idea of getting my blood drawn some where else kinda skeeves me out. Were getting married in NJ a week before we leave and telling very few people about it. In fact It has given me an opportunity to incorporate a bridesmaid who is unable to attend into the wedding because she will be the witness for our ceremony in NJ. All I know about there photography is that it is a contracted company which Nayeli didn’t give me the name of. She did however say they have a booth in the main lobby, which I didn’t see during the sight visit. Luckily, for me my dad is a photographer and my bother is a video-grapher and I plan on using both of there services for my wedding and my ttd pictures. I know my dad can’t walk me down the aisle and take pictures so that’s what im using their photographer for. After im down the aisle it’s back to work for dad. If you looking for a particular type of photo as in more photo journalistic I would suggest you look for an outside photographer. If you want more posed photos then stick with the one who is at the resort.
  6. Well im glad she got the promotion but the news makes me want to cry. She was doing such a great job! Now we don't know what were getting!
  7. I would suggest getting some insurance and some jewlery cleaner. The salt water, sunscreen, and sand wont hurt them just make them dirty. The safest place for them is on your finger so just go on vacation prepared.
  8. The best way for you to decide if you like it is to order it for yourself. I too ordered one just as a sample. If you fill them up with enough they will sit flat on the floor. They ship flat which makes them easy to carry to your destination. The one I recieved was ok in my opinion. Im still contenplative about ordering them as my oot bag though.
  9. Thanks so much for sharing your Info, I thought I was all alone at Excellence. Its a lovely resort, but not in the middle of all the actions so I'm sure thats probably why many people do not choose to get married there.
  10. Now I have to go and listen to all the songs you guys suggested! Thanks for the information.
  11. I'm planning on getting married and Excellence Playa Mujeres July 15, 2009. I've already done my site visit and loved the resort. I was just wondering if anyone else has any information to share about the resort. Even if you just honeymooned there any information about the resort, its resturants, types of transportion to other local hang outs will be helpful. I know that there was a past thread on this resort but I was having alittle trouble finding it again. Thanks, Lauren
  12. I don't want to walk down the aisle to the traditional wedding song. I was thinking about Leona Lewis "Here I Am". http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdSca9yYwKw What song did you walk down the aisle too? I'm looking for suggestions. Lauren

  15. Most of our guest are saying for a 5 days, Monday to Friday so Monday when we arrive we are going to have a cocktail party, possibly dinner on Tuesday (haven't decided yet) and the wedding on Wednesday. Thats all I have decided to plan out for people. I realize it is there vacation and they should have the right to enjoy it themeselves.
  16. We currently have 28 people booked at the hotel for the wedding and the wedding is 7 months away. However we are leaving plently of people behind i.e. individuals with children who do not hav child care or our senior citizen friends. So many people have asked if we were having something when we returened home. I'm not totally against the concept but I was wonding if this is common for destination weddings to have a celebration at home as well. Is anyone having a party when they return from their destination wedding? What type of party where you planning? Lauren
  17. The candles I found are unscented and I didn't see any with a scent. Sorry, Lauren
  18. I stumbled upon a great find this weekend at Dollar Tree and wanted to share. I found white unscented 2.5 oz travel candles in a tin for $1.00. I plan to add them to my OOT bags. They are currently labeled with a candle lite unscented candle sticker but I am planning on covering their label with my own monogrammed label. They are great candles for the price and I just felt that I should share. I have been seaching online for travel candles for my bags and basically have found them to be incredibly overpriced ranging from $2.50-$4.50 Check out you local dollar tree or even try the Dollar tree online store. The sku number is 7600134947 for anyone who has a dollar tree near by that doesn’t have the actually candles. I will attempt to attach a photo at a later date. Hope this helps my fellow BDW members. Lauren Not the exact product I found see above for the diffrences. http://www.beau-coup.com/Pictures/pe...le_tin_500.jpg
