Congrats! I can only imagine how exicted I will be in 3 weeks!

We are getting married there in about 2 months.. I have had the same problems with the whole no contact stuff.. Which is fustrating! My travel agent advised me that she has dealt with a few other destination weddings and all brides seem to have the same problem about having contact with their wedding planners.. so I am just trying not to worry about it! We aren't really adding anything on to our wedding package so I am not too worry about the price.. but now that I hear the wedding packages have gone up, I am curious now what I will be charged!

Keeping the meds in the orignal bottles is best.. My parents travel alot and have daily meds too.. and they were told to keep them in a ziplock bag in their carry on bag

kurz, we are getting married at the GBPJ in about 2 months And I can let you know after the wedding how it was.. When deciding the resort, think about the location you want to be married in, beach, gazebo, etc.. And the number of people attending will also help with the decision.. What I would do is contact the wedding planners at both resorts and have them send you the wedding planning stuff.. it will have quotes with prices and details of what wedding they do and where Hope that helps!

I was planning on using his services, as he is the photographer that comes with the resort I am getting married at.. I haven't used his services yet.. so I can't help you out! Have you had your issues resolved?

I have heard some good things and bad things.. I have spoken with a few brides and both of them enjoyed there stay and had a great wedding.. I plan to post a review of my wedding when I get back

sunstarsmoon, you have to be careful about how you read reviews.. I have stayed a numerous places that have gotten bad reviews and loved the place.. also pay attention to who is posting.. canadians vs americans

I have contacted a few brides through traveladvisor.. All of the brides had a great wedding, and they got what they wanted.. So that's why we choose GBPJ.. We also choose it because of the price.. where we live we have to take a connecting flight to get to a bigger city.. and we booked through Air Canada Vacations to get a cheap connecting flight I guess it all depends on what you are looking for and how many people are attending!

Do you still have the garter? And what about the fans?

I can't believe our weddings are 7 months away! Crazy Well we have: - Booked our location. Half paid for. - Honeymoon booked. On a payment plan - Have our date and time confirmed for our wedding. - Deposit sent for our wedding date. - Bought my dress. Now I am waiting to get it - Mother of the bride and groom have bought their dresses. - Matron of Honour has bought her dress. - Invites sent out. 16 have booked! - Groom's outfit picked out, but not ordered. - Best Man's outfit picked out, but not ordered. - In the process of ordering cool wedding sandals (floppyjos.com) - Ordered personalized bags. - Ordered MoH jewelery and gift. - Ordered my jewelery. - Hair appointment booked. Things to do: - Write vows. - Pick photographer. (undecided on whether to use the resort photog or get my own) - Order Guys stuff. - Buy wedding bands. They have been chosen though - Purchase bestman gift.

I was in our local Le Chateau and they had linen tan suits But I was doing some searching online a few months ago and came across this great site.. you can order a custom made linen suit.. WeddingTropics It seems a bit pricey.. but its custom We are planning to order pants and shirts from there.. I was in contact with them and they told me that to have your product in time to order end of dec or early jan.. (we are also getting married in April 2009)

I would suggest to go with the tan instead of black.. as black on the beach and under the hot sun wouldn't be fun I would do turquoise dresses for the ladies, tan linen pants for the guys with turquoise shirts.. Black would look nice on the beach, but I think tan would suit it more and be less "hot" for the wearers of black But in the end its up to you, and what you want!

I am planning to wear my dress for my AHR.. At the moment I just want everyone what we looked like on our big day.. But I am not sure if I am going to wear the dress the whole night though.. I am worried that my dress will be super dirty from our real wedding day, and I don't wanna stay in a super dirty dress.. and it's alot to dry clean.. and I don't want to dry clean it twice!

I think you can write him a song, but don't use it for you walking down the isle.. Sing it to him later on Sing a song that you both love
