But, I was in the same dilemma. We are arriving Saturday and wanted to get married Tuesday....I tried writing Chandlyn, but all I got was a response saying that she will discuss my wedding plans 2 months ahead of time- nothing about my date question.. I told my travel agent about it and she handled it no problem...I dont think you will have a problem with it at all...but, to be on the safe side I would just get your travel agent to deal with it asap and u can start making those std probably by next week Thanks. Right after I posted this thread, the Riu wedding sales department emailed me right back. This is what they said:
Dear Melanie,
Thank you very much for contacting Riu Sales Wedding Department.
We required the couple to arrive 2 business days prior the ceremony, please notice that Sundays and arrival date do not count as business day, if you are getting married on November 23rd 2009, the latest day you can arrive will be November 19th 2009.
If you shall require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Warm Regards,
