I've got a couple of fitness fanatics in my class, so I asked them today about protein shakes, and they both agreed that "Designer Whey" tastes good, best protein powder they've found, and it's about $35 for 40 servings. Per 1 scoop: (1-3 scoops per serving) 18g protein 1 g fat 2g carbs 90 calories Here's a website: Next Proteins™ Designer Whey® - Strawberry - NEXT PROTEINS - GNC Oh, and apparently Muscle Milk is really good too (and around the same price ) I haven't tried either of these yet, but I plan to very soon

I think we should all be taking a multi-vitamin everyday anyway, so I would think it would be ok. I already take a multi-vitamin, I've got low iron and low B12, so it solves both of those along with anything else I may be getting low on And I'm REALLY happy I can have milk instead, I love milk Only 1% though, 2% tastes too rich lol And I didn't realize I could still have cheese, that's AWESOME! I love cheese Maybe I should have been a mouse...

This diet actually looks great I'm hoping to start something soon, because I really want to look great in that dress lol Right now I'm under a $hitload of stress, so no diet for me. I'll end up eating my weight in chocolate, and that won't be good (or cheap lol) Hopefully in September (if not sooner) I'll be on board So how's it going for everyone? I'm going to DIE without fruit every day, I'm not a big veggie person. Potatoes, lettuce, peppers, and broccoli... That's pretty much the extent of it lol And protein shakes are out of the question. Last I heard, bulimia isn't sustainable... How's everyone else coping with that? Can I switch for a glass of milk and a multi-vitamin instead?

Beach Wedding? - Catholic Answers Forums I did a quick search and that's what I found. Apparently a marriage isn't valid unless it is performed inside a Catholic church, and doing a church wedding followed by a "symbolic" ceremony is a big no-no. I have no idea, I'm not Catholic, in fact I was raised Anglican lol. I'm going by what I read on that board. Hope this helps! Oh, and the wheelbarrow idea? PRICELESS!!

If you were a guest....
FutureMrsLewis replied to alkoch's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I voted for the 50-minute ride. If you're going to look back on your pictures with disappointment and think "Damn, I wish we went to MY church", then the 20-minute church isn't really worth it. Besides, if anyone REALLY doesn't want to travel that far on the bus, then don't go lol Stay at the resort and wait for everyone to get back. That's how I'd look at it -
Domestic abuse.. what would you do?
FutureMrsLewis replied to Royal_lady10's topic in Just venting or funnies
I agree with the other ladies, KEEP CALLING! In a past relationship, I remember wishing that someone would just hear me screaming and call the police, and nobody ever did... One day she'll realize that she needs to get out, and the Police will help her. But don't let that ONE day be the day you decide not to call... -
Contemplating a Disney Wedding...
FutureMrsLewis replied to FutureMrsLewis's topic in Florida Weddings
I'm thinking small, like 10-20 people at most It's only about $4500 for the escape package, which allows up to 20 people. MouseWeddings.com has a LOT of info, more than Disney give you in their wedding package that they send out. And I've been looking for a while, so if you have any questions, let me know -
What the hell happen to Kevin Federline?? *OMG he is HUGE!!!*
FutureMrsLewis replied to MarieSam's topic in Celebrity Gossip!
I agree with Sloan, he is a douche bag! lol One thing that isn't fair though, if this was a female, the pregnancy rumours would be RAMPANT and it would be WAY bigger than it is. Stupid media... -
FI and I are both Newfies. Born on the west coast of the island and now living in St. John's. And I don't ever plan to leave my little rock either

We lucked out with our vet. We needed to get Boots (Little one on the right in my avatar) spayed, so we just took her to the animal hospital down the street and they did an amazing job. We never actually saw the vet the day of her surgery, we just left her with the girls at the front desk. The day we went back to get her stitches out we actually met her vet and he was a sweetheart, telling us that we had an adorable little girl and was petting her and made her feel very comfortable while he took her stitches out and even let me hold her while he was removing them So it's a fluke that we have such a good vet, but it's a great feeling knowing that we do and that we have someone we can trust with our girls Oh, and our oldest cat, Shadow (on the left) actually had a big problem with vomiting too. We took her off IAMS and now she just coughs up hairballs once every blue moon

FutureMrsLewis replied to amygirl1169's topic in Just venting or funnies
I would have FREAKED if I found that lol I would have calmed down and laughed later, but still would have freaked first lol FI does all of our laundry, and every time I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nothing comes out the wrong colour lol -
That really sucks, but as Michele said, at least it's not Jamaica! lol I didn't realize that if they were done improperly that they'd be such a PITA! So thanks for telling us about your nails so hopefully we can avoid it too

Aww, everyone's fur babies are so cute! I'd have a house full of animals if I could I love them all, mice, hamsters, chinchillas, ferrets, cats, dogs, everything but bugs lol Buuuut, right now I just have two pussers This is Shadow, she's a short-haired tabby and she's almost 10. And she is a DIVA, through-and-through. This little fluffball is a Wegie (Norwegian Forest Cat), her name is Boots. She's almost 2, and she's my little sook. And yes, I call her mom's girl I don't have any ACTUAL babies, so they can be my fur babies, right? lol

I've seen women wear white pants all the time, especially paired with a nice colourful shirt. I wouldn't mind at all, because I'm used to seeing it. But she may be one of those who thinks any white at all is atrocious (not sure if I spelled that right lol) so I'd maybe ask around, ask family what they think. I think most brides are okay with that though. White shirts are more offensive than white pants IMO

pair with same first & last name are getting married
FutureMrsLewis replied to Christine's topic in Random Thoughts
That's pretty funny lol I thought I was getting a cool new name (I'm a network tech and my new initials will be DSL) but that blows me WAY out of the water lol -

I have a question ladies Great topic btw, I've always wondered about gel vs. acrylic and whether it was worth it. I love the look of my nails grown out, but I always have ONE break just as they're grown to the perfect length! Very annoying... So I was thinking about gel nails, but not really long, just a nice length. Anyway, I'm a computer/network tech. Are they going to be a pain when I'm trying to take a computer apart or while I'm typing? My regular nails don't bother me, they click a little when I type, but that's it.

Ladies, after seeing all of your beautiful tattoos, I'm inspired to get one. All along I've been a chicken, but now I want one I just can't figure out what to get lol

What triggered your bridezilla moment?
FutureMrsLewis replied to Kristy!'s topic in Just venting or funnies
Holy crap, I would have gone bridezilla too if I had some of these things happen to me. One of my sisters purposely screwing with my gown? I would have killed her. And leaving the reception to go have sex with your husband? Aah, hello?? You're MARRIED, you can do that any freakin' time you want!! If the only way you're getting it is because it's scheduled, then honey there's something you ain't doing right! lol -
