I haven't checked in in awhile sorry! I havent done much lately but I did get new earings at lunch for the wedding! yay! I still am in desperate need of shoes tho. You girls will have so much fun at your bach. parties! I had my big one in vegas (with 16 of my friends) in july and im having one here in calgary Oct 3rd with another 20 friends (some that can't come to the wedding and some who couldnt come to vegas). I am like you Jill, and used to planning everything so it was so so hard for me to not be involved.

I agree, we have 7 and 7! Can't imagine not having any one of them not in the wedding party, so whatever!

True, I do think she was really just overwhelmed. I dont think she thought she would win at all. She was so so smart to take natalie instead of kevin. I thought she would win the HOH competition UNTIL they had to do a tie breaker which involved numbers. Seriously every event where she had to guess a number she was always so far off it was funny, but man she just nailed it and totally shocked me. Definitely peaked at the right time, thats for sure.

Don't read if you don't want to know who won!!! YAY! I laughed so hard last night when Jordan won. I love it. Stupid natalie. I did think it was weird though how you could see jeff trying to go talk to Jordan at the end and she just gave him the tiniest hug and then said to him something like 'we were the showmance hey'.. or something? Do you think she was duping him? I dont think she would know how to and that she is too nice to do that. But I dont think anything will happen with them outside of the house.

I look at the reviews on tripadvisor alot too and they seem to be coming back really good! And I agree, I like that huatulco is somewhere new and dif to most people! Not the typical cancun/mayan wedding!

sfrench- i totally think people would use them again at home.. definitely over a stadium cup. We use travel mugs for alot of things, which is also why we didnt put our logo or names across them - so people can use them again. We just did a palm tree and the location of our wedding. I think its so worth the extra money. I think its more a canadian thing but you won't find many of us that don't travel with a travel mug to keep our drinks cold longeR!!

I am sure alot of brides do this but my biggest no-no and what I HATE seeing at weddings, is the groom crawling up and completely submersing himself under the brides dress to get the garter. Hello, Grandparents?!

yah I was the same way at first too Lisa when my FI suggested it. And his reasoning was that his friend, aka the MC, would be doing as much if not more work than his actual groomsman b/c its not easy to be an MC! So I agree. I dont think MC's are common in the US, usually their dj's just mc the wedding, which i thought was so weird at the weddings I went to down south. A good MC can really make a reception!

Our MC is a close friend of FI's so he is giving the same thing to him as he is giving his groomsman. Are you having bmaids? If so, why not give her the same as the bmaids?

finleys, I love all music.. really do. But I feel like everything is too corny! Right now we are thinking 'In your Eyes' by Jeffrey Gaines and we will just have people join in with us half way thru b/c I don't want people staring at us for 5 min. But I also just heard 'Always' by JP Hoe and really like it. Never heard it until yesterday when I saw it on a wedding video of a friends.

I would definitely go with travel mugs personally (thats what we are doing). I think stadium cups are kinda useless as they are just like the cups you will get from the bar and they don't keep your drinks cold any longer. We got our travel mugs from 4imprint.ca and love them and know all our guests will use them constantly!

I think your doing enough by paying for their accommadations, thats truly generous enough already. We paid for our wedding partys attire (and there aer 14 of them so it was a big cost) but they are paying for their trip which is really pricey so its what we did to help them out a bit. don't stretch yourself too far!

this seems harder than it should be: 1) I have never had a surgery 2) I went to university at a D1 school on a full ride to play volleyball 3) I graduated from university 5 years ago and have been working in a field completely unrelated to my degree ever since (and yes, i hate it) 4) I have never waxed any part of my body and don't think I ever will-ouch! 5) I have never went past my waist in the ocean b/c I am terrified of sharks

Courtney Don't get too frustrated, you are still pretty far out! Sounds like we all have had some very similar experiences. I know I was disheartened cause so many of my friends had the 'omg this is it' moment and i never did and I went to over 11 shops. And I agree with Rachel, everyone is not that way and I kinda knew I would never have one. I also like my dress but I am not like 'holy crap this is it'. I was also going to mention nicole miller, she has a lot of great dresses for good prices. I got one of her dresses and its a sweetheart strapless mermaid fit gown.. sidenote:omg mswhatever, your dog is hilarious!

ah Jenny I am going to be no help! I loved the lace one immediately but the silk one looks gorgeous on you too and really suits you! Are you just torn to spend more money or are you torn b/w the two dresses?
