  1. My fiance had surgery on Monday. I went back with him before his surgery when they were putting the IV in and sat with him until it was time for them to take him back. Later I was in the waiting area when the doctor came out and yelled, "Mrs. Ortiz?" I stood up (I was the only one in the waiting area) and he said "your husband said I would find you out here." Uhhhh.... yup the anesthesia is heavy in his system!! I think I was still processing "wife & husband" instead of paying attention to what the doctor was saying!

I also brought along a kite and we got some great shots on the lawn. If you aren't afraid of pigeons, las parque de palomas is down the street and could make for some artistic shots. WoW I LUV your picture!! Fantastic idea!!!!!! Although I'm getting married at El Conquistador which is about 1 hour away from El Morro I would really like to have pictures taken at El Morro! I'm just trying to figure out what we can do....... We are getting married Saturday and not leaving San Juan until Tuesday so maybe we can take pictures Monday at El Morro Sorry just thinking out loud..... BTW, do you have pictures of your wedding in PR that you can share with us future PR brides? I'd love to see them! If you have already posted pics, where can I find them?? Thanks in advance!

    Hi :)

Hi there! Welcome to the forum!
  8. WoW it's nice to hear just how common the "man of honor" thing has become! Since the moment I got engaged I knew I wanted my best friend to be my moh even though he is a gay male! As mentioned earlier all the old rules are out! Just do what makes YOU happy!

  16. My fiance and I live together but we have decided that the night before the wedding we will sleep seperately. I'll probably stay with my best friend so that we can wake up and meet the rest of the girls at the spa. He, on the other hand, will be with the guys. Who knows how much sleep he will really get but I warned him, I'll be looking better in the wedding photos!!!! And of course that's all that matters!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. I think eyebrow threading gives you a cleaner look. Your eyebrows look perfect! And it does seem to last longer than waxing. In my opinion, it was VERY PAINFUL! ouch! When I mentioned the pain to the tech she was like, "ooohh do you want numbing lotion?" Big difference! No pain at all!!!!
