First off, I'm sorry that you are going through this. I can't imagine how you are feeling. It's easy for all of us to try & give you advice but ultimately you need to do what is best for you and your precious children. If you want to tell your parents, tell them. It's not fair that he tells you who you can & can't tell. This is extremely emotional time & you need your family's support! Remember, ultimately it's YOU & YOUR KIDS (period). Be strong. Have faith. You are young and beautiful and you have your ENTIRE life ahead of you!!!!! God put you on this earth for bigger and better things!!!!! You call the shots!!

Awww I LUV El Conquistador!!!! Have you contacted the resort? Yahaira in catering is AWESOME!!! She's a "no pressure" type of woman! I adore her! If you call the hotel & ask to speak with her let her know Samantha Gallegos referred you! She will get a good laugh! I'm in contact with her ALL the time! The best part about it, is that she has lots of information & she does not expect you to book anything immediately. You know how some people are all about the sale? She is all about pleasing the customer & that's what I like best about her. She will even give you a significant discount on a room at the resort just so you can go and see for your self if El Conquistador is right for you! Please let me know if you need anything!

Hey girls! I've been browsing through the DIY projects and I LUV the boarding pass invites!! Here's my question, I sent out STD magnets with pretty much no theme what so ever. Actually even the colors on the magnet will NOT be what we are doing for the wedding. The day my FI & I ordered them we still had no clue on decor and wanted to hurry & give everyone as much notice as possible. So here I am now looking at actual invites and 1) they are SUPER expensive and 2) I'm wondering if you girls sent out STD boarding pass (or something similar) and then followed with the boarding pass invites? How much would you say (if any) you saved doing it yourself? Am I making any sense? Thanks for your help!

I LUV your invitations! I spent all night looking at different types of invitations but I never found "the one". And most are super expensive! Do you mind me asking how much you spent and for how many? I'm thinking I need approx 75 invites. Thanks for your help!

You guys are too funny! I'm so glad this thread was started. I thought I was the only one going crazy with this!! So my FMIL wants to invite her cousin & cousin's husband. Fine no big deal. I mean, my FI has not seen or heard from these people in like 15+ years but WE will deal with it. Now we find out that this lady (FMIL cousin) not only rsvp but also purchased 6 airline tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Turns out she's inviting her kids, their spouse, and their children!!!!!!! I'm still trying to figure out how the hell this is going to play out!!!!!
