I think the 1st dress is beautiful! Perfect for your destination wedding!!!

THANK YOU!!!!! I looked up both "Da House Hotel" & "Villa Sevilla" and they both look really nice & very economical!!!!!! My dad is totally against paying $340/night at the resort & these are great alternatives! My stomach feels much better now! I was beginning to worry for my guests because of the economy & finances but I found that Villa Sevilla can be as low as $35/night per person!!!!

The very first dress I had in mind over a year ago was $6,500. I never tried the dress on. I saw it on one of those "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?" shows & called the store where it was purchased and found out the price. - So all along my FI is thinking that's the cost of wedding dresses. Fast forward.... I found "the dress" at a boutique down the street from where I live. The price tag, $5,000.00. I left & told the owner that I would come back with my mom because I wanted her to see the dress on me. I then went online & found that the designer sold her dresses to a few other stores in Texas. I called one nearest me and she said the same exact dress was $4,000.00!? So with that, I called the boutique down the street from me & told the owner that I found it $1,000 cheaper. She tells me that she will match that price & even go lower because she needs this sale!! This just makes me think, how much lower can this lady sell this dress to me??

Thank you for your advice. She just called and she's on her way home. She just sounds soooo sad! I'm beginning to realize that the death of a pet is no different than the death of a human being!

My mom's 12 year old dog died last night. Friday she took her to the vet & they decided to treat her systematically because of her age. The vet gave her medication because she had fluid in her lungs caused by a heart murmur. My mom worked all day/night Saturday so FI and I went to her home so we could look over her dog & try to make her as comfortable as possible considering what she was going through. We decided to stay the night because it seemed as though she was feeling worse. We woke up every other hour to check on her & at 3:00 am she passed. I'm soooo glad we stayed over because I did not want my mom to see her dog dead. My FI was able to handle the situation & even had her picked up by 7:00 this morning. My mom didn't have to see anything although she is completely devastated!! I'm still at her home. She had to work today & she should be back at any moment. My question is, under the circumstances, do you think that we should adopt another puppy for her? I don't want my mom to feel lonely without her dog. I've never had to experience the death of an animal so I'm wondering what is best for her. Thank you for your help. -I hope this message makes sense. I've had no sleep & I'm having a hard time functioning today. I just feel so horrible for my mom!
