I agree with the rest of the girls and I don't feel that anything is wrong with that at all! In fact, my stepmom recently asked if I would have "extra" formal invitations?? I assume she wants to give them to friends who are not actually attending the wedding and rather than spend extra $$ on the more expensive invites, I'd rather give her something less expensive!! Now that I think about it, my fmil asked the same thing! It's sooo frustrating! Especially because WE are paying for everything! At the same time if we don't give them "extra" or we question waht they are doing, then WE are the bad ones!!!!!! I don't know if it's because it's that time of month for me but all of this crap is really starting to annoy me!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry that your parents are ill and how thoughtful of you to literally take your wedding to them! I think it's wonderful!!! My prayers are with you and your family! YoU are getting married! Hooray! It's time to celebrate!!!!!! ps I live in San Antonio. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know!!!!
