  1. Nice job! I have been wondering how much or how little info to include, so it is nice to see one that is not necesarily a travel guide for the area.
  2. Ok ladies, everyone on this site seems to be amazing at the DIY aspects of materials for weddings.. and I am so overwhelmed by the prospect of all of this. Can you please point me in the direction of a template for water bottle labels? Are these worth the trouble?? thanks!
  3. Those are precious!! Tags are on my list of things to do this weekend.. with your template the task might not be so overwhelming!! xo, Kelley
  4. Amazing!! I am going to tackle that project this weekend and hope mine come out half as nice as yours!!
  5. I am getting married at the Victoria House in November. I have been there many times before and can 100% rely on the staff to provide an elegant bur relaxed wedding for us and our 80 guests. They also do smaller weddings. Kelley
  6. hi everyone... I am considering including custom embroidered caps for our OOT bags (wedding in Belize in November). So, I was wondering if any of you considered adding these and if you had any words of wisdom regarding vendors, etc. on this topic. any advice is welcomed.. thanks. Kelley
  7. what size are they? and if that is your size, do they run small or large? thanks!
  8. I am getting married at the Victoria House on Ambergris Caye in November and have been there many many times. It is by far the most luxurious resort on the island and the level of the service is unbeatable. I have not been to Blancanaux, but have read GREAT things about it. Any chance you could split your time between the island and mainland? They are really two very different places so offer different activities and atmosphere. On the mainland it will feel more rugged and junglish and on the island.. well, it's a tropical island... so you can imagine it's much more about water activities and cocktails on the beach. I have been going to Belize since I was a kid and would be happy to answer any questions.. just be warned that I am partial to San Pedro and especially to the Victoria House!

  10. I love all of your stuff, but unfortunately you are one size too small for me. Could I ask where you got your blue bridesmaid's dresses? Any of them for sale?
  11. I sailed around BVI last March and LOVED it! I think my cousin went to a wedding on St. John but we only stopped there (at a beautiful restaurant called the Equator!) Like others said, Jost van Dyke is very fun but beware of travel books that suggest that you "must see" the Bitter End and some cave thing as they are both built up tourist traps. It sounds like there are a few of us on the forum that can help out, so let us know when you get to seriously searching. Best wishes for YOUR wedding, too!
  12. have any of you done your own fun translation guides? I am American and marrying a British man and we constantly laugh at the translation issues... thought it might be cute to include a British/English phrase book. What do you girls think?
  13. did you do OOT bags? If so, which items were worth it and which would you skip if you had to do it over again?
  14. Not sure if you are considering reselling your dress, but removing the train would make that more difficult. Plus the bustle adds another dimension to the shape of the dress... and I agree that one of the great things about doing a destination wedding is that we pick and choose the rules that we want! have fun with it!
  15. I agree with Jacilynda... I am shaped like you and find that strapless only makes me look broader, so V-necks and halters are your friend!!! Congrats and hope you found what you love!
  16. That is so exciting! Hope your planning is coming along nicely!
  17. this is so helpful.. now if I can just get enough points on the forum to be allowed to access them. :-0
