One of my best friends is about 6 months pregnant. This morning she tripped over her dog and had to go to the hospital because she was having contractions. Everything seems to be fine, the baby (Brody) has a strong heartbeat and he is still moving around like he normally does and Mommy is just scared, not hurt...but they are keeping her overnight to watch her and make sure everything is fine. Better safe than sorry. I'm sure everything will be okay, but I figured asking for all of you wonderful ladies to send out good thoughts and prayers couldn't hurt. Thank you.

Yeh, I got mine in the store...we have this store at most of the local malls in Charlotte. Sorry they are out!!!

That was amazing. I think that is the dirtiest I have seen a dress get in a TTD yet! Definitely a costly video...but how awesome to have that I love when she is sitting in the water, so poised and the wave totally takes her out of the screen shot. I can only imagine my whole shoot will be like that shot

I haven't figure this one out yet...we will be doing our "1st dance" at our AHR, since we won't have a formal reception at our DW. We are doing a rustic, country theme and it always makes me think of Hope Floats, so I looked up the movie and Sandra and Harry danced to Garth Brooks' "Make you Feel my Love" which is a beautiful song. Not sure yet...FI and I want to have an awesome song to dance to as we are competing with our friends that got married last who danced to an off the wall song and did a funny dance. Hmm...that is interesting...I haven't seen that before. I like the casual dressed, be yourself, in love photos myself. There are a lot of girls who have posted their pics on here (myself included). If you did a search, you could probably get a good idea of what most of us have done. Good luck

So I doubt I will be able to wear these long, but I can stand them long enough for my BD photo shoot and for my wedding pictures...that is all that matters right? I wanted to have blue shoes ever since I saw a friend of mine who wore fun blue heels under her fancy dress. So I was shopping with my Sister/MOH this past weekend and found these in the window of Charlotte Russe. They were only $24.99, and my Sister thought they would be hott for my BD session I absolutely love them!! Ohhh...I just remembered costumes that a couple I know wore a couple of years ago. It was verry cute He was Inspector Gadget and she was Penny. He wore the trench coat and hat and make go go gadget arms and she wore the red and white with her hair in pig tails...so cute...sorry I don't have a picture of them! Last year I made a SheRa costume and FI made a Donnie Darko costume. It was time consuming, but fun. FI is so talented...he actually painted the skeleton onto the sweatsuit in glow in the dark paint. He was very cute. Our costumes didn't go together, but I thought we were cute

I did some stickers recently for a work project. I designed the sticker in PhotoShop, but I looked at Avery online to find a size I liked and they even have templates you can download for Microsoft Word. It worked out pretty well. I can't access the button to insert a link on this computer, but I think the site is avery.com, if not, just google Avery. Advice, make sure your local supplies store carries the style of labels you want, I made the mistake of picking a label before I knew if they carried it in the Office Depot and I didn't have time to order them online. I took a workout class in college called "Cardio Strip." Naive me thought it meant stripping off the calories/fat, but no...it meant strip tease It ended up being a lot of fun though. We were thinking about taking a class as part of my bachelorette party...but the only place I know of near me just closed I still want to do it though!! FI would flip if I even gave him a lil taste of what they teach in class haha

I am having a somewhat similar issue. My MOH and one BM have already booked their travel. Check, check. Another of my BM has not acted like she even really wants to go (she has been my best friend for 10 years?), but I think she will eventually come around - she is very against getting married, but hello...its my wedding, not yours!! But my last BM is my 16 year old cousin, Brittany. I asked her to be in my wedding because I love her to death and she is my only female relative (besides my sister, who is my MOH). Plus what 16 year old girl wouldn't want to be a BM?? Her family told me they would do whatever it took to be there, we are all very close, so I asked her to be my BM. Now her family can't afford to go. They have had a lot of issues and of course the economy sucks, so they can't come. They are saying they are going to let Brittany go, but I am really concerned that it won't happen. My parents are willing to pay for her flight, so that they can afford to send her, but I'm not sure her parents are going to be okay with a 16 year old going to the DR without them. So of course, now I feel horrible for asking her because now if she can't go, her heart will be broken!! Oh well, I guess all we can do is try not to stress and just hope that it all works out. I will not be able to do a site visit. My TA just took a trip to my resort again, so I will be getting some photos from her soon. I am just having to trust that...I wish I could do a site visit, it just isn't feasible for me. I will arrive 3 days before my wedding to meet with the WC at the resort though. Good luck!!

Welcome to the fourm! A high school friend of mine got married in OBX a few years ago. It was a beautiful ceremony in the Elizabethan Gardens. They had rented a house on the beach as well, so there was a nice party there after the reception as well. Fun times! Good luck with your planning...you picked a beautiful location!

Wow, I wanted to use this company too. She has the perfect bouquet that was actually the inspiration for my colors. I am so bummed. Looks like she was doing well with getting BDW business...but not anymore. I wonder if I could show someone else the bouquet I am in love with

I am a bit confused about this as well. I sent out STDs already and I think I have decided to just send out some sort of brochure with all the details of the trip. Then they will also get a welcome package with the rest of the details once they get there. I hope that is enough

I actually bought a wedding dress at a thrift store, thinking that I would use it for a TTD, but then I saw Becks' TTD slide show (who has the same dress I have for my ceremony) and now I want to do the TTD in my original dress So I might sell my thrift store dress at some point, when I finally make up my mind.

TTD is Trash the Dress. It is a photo session where you and your Hubby get together and do a photo shoot, whether it be walking around the town near your resort, on the beach and in the ocean or some even jump in a pool or a river. I don't think it really "trashes" the dress, but it is a way to have some fun with your new husband, the day after your wedding in your dress.

They are adorable! Your BMS will love these and you!!
