  1. After seeing many other examples of table numbers from other DIY'ers I have finished my own... We have a big group joining us in Cuba, and Table Seating is essential - my big fear is that my parents and family will sit at the back of the room - weird bride dreams! Anywhoo... I have found pictures of FI and I doing things we love and put them into table numbers - but instead of numbers - we are naming the tables. Our plan is to put each of the pictures in frames purchased in the market in Varadero, then give each one to one person seated at the table - like an at home wedding with the centrepieces. This one is for the 'kids' table. Here is the link to the template for the powerpoint presentation that I used to create these. Table__'s[1].pptx - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage
  2. WOW... I can't believe I've been nominated again... what an honour.
  3. Hey, I couldn't get the attachment to upload... but if you click on this link, you can get it! Wedding_Timeline.ppt - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage Glad everyone liked it! I love it...
  4. Casey - you look fantastic!!!! That is a gorgeous dress!!!!
  5. Thanks Amanda! No problem... I am here to lend you a hand! I have been able to preplan a lot b/c my group is so big! phew... i just noticed our tickers are in DAYS!!!!
  6. Using Ann's timeline as inspiration I have finished our timeline! I am thrilled with the way it turned out and have attached the powerpoint presentation that I have used to print all of them. Essentially - you'll see that when you open the powerpoint presentation slides 3 & 4 are the same and so are 6 & 7 - this way I can print just these slides on '2 per page slide notes' and print them double sided. I end up with the crests on one side of the page and the icon timeline on the other side. Slides one and two are my brag slides - i have morphed clipart (readily available on microsoft website) into appropriate icons for my timeline.... with all the monograms I've worked on for others I have had a lot of practise! I have many things to share with everyone over the next couple of days - if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! Ciao Amy. AHH I can't get the powerpoint slides to upload... I'll try again after this post! Ok... so it is being shared from the below website! Check it out... http://www.box.net/shared/a29ob8qk2q Wedding_Timeline.pdf

  9. Stunning - Just Stunning! OMG Stunning Congratulations!
  10. Her pricing was very much in line with [a company]- My whole package (which is really quite big) was under $900.00 including all of the bling - the starfish, and the circles of rhinestones on the stems. I am so happy with them and she is a DREAM to work with.
  11. BOUTONNIERES: the white one is for FI WRIST CORSAGES FOR MOTHERS AND GODMOTHER: I am so excited - Laura says she will be shipping them today or Monday! They will be perfect with our new pink bridesmaid dresses!!!!! YAY!
  12. I decided early on that I wanted Floramatique flowers for my DW. I decided this based on the fact that when we are there, it will be Cuba's winter, and I was not comfortable with rolling the dice on this one - as wedding flowers have such a presence in pictures - my thought - I spent $X on a dress, $X to get there, $X to bring my own photographer... etc etc... the pictures HAVE to look good. When I finally decided that I was going to spend the money on this - Sadly, I was too late for [a company]. I then began the quest to find a vendor - locally - hoping for a Canadian florist - to avoid duty charges. This is about the time I found Bridal Blooms By Laura - She is located outside Toronto Ontario - which is about four hours from where I live - but I would not have to pay duty charges.... Over the past few months, a couple of breakdowns (you all know about the bridesmaid dress dilemma), a ton of emails, and then a complete redesign of my flowers to accomodate our new 'light pink flamingo' bridesmaid dresses. This morning I received my teaser pics of my wedding flowers. Without further ado..... MY BOUQUET: BRIDESMAID BOUQUETS: TOSS BOUQUET: .....continued.....
  13. Awesome Virg!!! I just got mine in from JCREW - I did score 20% off... but shipping was $35.00 - be ready with your Credit Card to pay the duty - my two dresses totalled $261 - and the duty payable was $88. YAY for progress!
  14. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t33398 Per my last rant about the bridesmaid dresses!!! They just came in this afternoon!!!!!! Like a little kid at Christmas, I ran to my office, tore into the box and hung them on my bulletin board... they are a little wrinkly - but they are perfect..... I then ran to the IT department to steal a camera to show them off to my BM's and of course to my ladies at BDW... Without further ado.... My 2 'light flamingo' Silk taffeta dresses from JCrew. On the right is the dress for my BM/Best Friend/New Momma - I think it will suit her perfectly! The dress on the left is for my sister/MOH - it is actually a strapless number but as in the description on the JCrew website, it has a corseted insert - I was really surprised when I saw the quality of the dress - see pic below. So.... They have yet to try them on, but I think we'll be in the clear! Thank you for seeing me through the drama!

Well, as the wedding quickly approaches - I have been focused on taking pics of all of my labours... here are my custom wedding bands... This is a pic of my e-ring - as per the insurance doc's. Thanks again for all your help!!!
