    Hello!

Hi Ruth- Welcome! Your daughter is very lucky to have you involved. Happy planning!
  9. So far we only have 3 people not staying at the resort. Thery are staying at a timeshare and we are going to pay their fee- BUT it's because I totally dropped the ball and forgot to add that info on my website.
  10. I can't see the pics cause I am at work casey but happy that you got them out! Check it off your list!
  11. You ladies are amazing. Thanks for the advice- I also just want to say that Casey looked HOT at the shoot- and I don't know how the photog could have screwed it up but she did! Thanks for all the kind words. I really needed it.
  12. I confess- that I HATE my BD pics and am very sad. I jumped on the band wagon of a group shoot with a not so experienced photographer in my opinion. I only paid $250 with crappy hair and makeup included plus the rental of car cause it wasn't in the city. I am just super bummed because this was a big deal for me. I have struggled with my self image and body issues my whole life and have come to a healthier place but seeing this horrible lighting, non artistic shots, and bad makeup (which i didn't correct becuase I didn't bring any of my own makeup!!) has thrown me for a loop. I feel horrible. I was hoping the experience would be liberating, fun and empowering and it wasn't. Now that I see the pics i am a bit depressed. They look trashy and not good. I am supposed to pick 30 that i like but can only find about 6. I am considering forking out the dough for another shoot with a more experienced photographer -even though i don't have it at all- ugh.. thanks for letting me vent. * I don't want to say who the photographer is becuase there are 2 other girls on here that did it with me. I will wait to chat with them first.
  13. Welcome back Mrs~! Well you certainlly had an eventful time! I'm so sorry that the second week wasn't what you had envisioned but this is great that you will be taking a separate honeymoon for the two of you. It wouu;dn't be a wedding without mishaps right? I hope the guest who fell is doing well. what a bummer!! It seems like you didn't let all those things get in the way of what is most important- you married Francis. I can't wait to see pics- you put so much thought into everything beforehand and I am sure that you looked beautiful! Congrats !
  14. Sandra I think it depends on when sunset is you can check that our for your date if you google. This is what my phtographer reccommended: (from my email) If you want to consider the OPTIMAL light for photography in the evening, 30 minutes before sunset and 30 minutes after sunset, so called the "golden hour") Planning your wedding around this time ensures the potential for BEAUTIFUL sky and dramatic lighting. For planning the start time of your ceremony, we would like you to consider a few things: If your ceremony time will be under 15 minutes, we recommend starting the wedding 45-55 minutes before the scheduled sunset. If your ceremony time will be 20-30 min, we recommend starting the wedding 55-65 minutes before the scheduled sunset. hope this helps...

LOL The invites DON"T need to be perfect but I understand cause I thought mine were just ok and got a bunch of calls and texts saying they were awesome. Just remember people really don't focus on teh invite all that much. It's US that do! Also.. your ticker says you lost 24 lbs!!! that's amazing. now over.

I too have to still find shoes and meet with my friend who is making the jewelry. Quote: Originally Posted by Blkatz ugh-I am having such an issue with FI outfit. Part of me is paranoid to wait but reaslly nobody out there has it. FI is the type that wants to try on - we can't just order for him. He's picky like that. I seriously have to stop myself from buying things. I had a list and had to get realistic because I am scared that my bags are already too packed and also that they may take my stuff away thinking I'm selling it in Mexico or something.
  17. You ladies are awesome! Giving me lots to think about. I guess you will see which one i choose in my planning thread. (I still have 3 months though!) Thanks so much for the input.
