  1. Hi girls! We went to Las Caletas for "Rythems of the Night." I thought of each and every one of you as I stood on that beach after dinner:) What a special place! I'll work on pics but they aren't that great in the dark
  2. You can just take a cab for about $20 US... lots of cabs available at the airport:) Otherwise PV Adventures are available.

He's pretty damn proud of himself -- it's hilarious. I guess it's still pretty early on in the pregnancy so anything could happen. Hopefully the 3 of us (that sounds just crazy) make it through the next 7 months or less... probably less. No rest for me this summer! I gotta work all I can while I still can! That is soooo funny! Good for him:)
  4. OMG Kayte!!!! I can't even imagine the emotions you are feeling! But, it will be GREAT! And in the end you won't be able to imagine your life any other way:)

However, I tried contacting Beth over a week ago via her website and haven't gotten a reply. Anyone have any experience contacting/working with Beth? Not sure if I should try contacting her again via the website or if there is another way (dont want to be pushy!). I really love both of their work and would like to have both of their information before we make a decision. Thanks in advance! Vanessa, ask Lindsay/Blaire/Montse... they should be able to help you!

I will let you know how it turns out in a few weeks once she comes back from the trip. Good for you!!!
  7. Hi Ladies... I am back! Mel- so bummed I missed you by a few days So they have made a few updates... improvements that you'd probably only notice if you have been there before so I won't go into that. There are a few rooms, including the honeymoon suite that are set to be updated this summer as well. All of the rooms are great. The ones that haven't been updated have more of a true mexico flavor which people love as well! No worries. There was a celebrity at the hotel this week and she was in an "older" room and LOVED it... so there you go. As for the rocks... plan on them being there. The pool deck is right ON the ocean... the deck drops off over the water so it feels like you are on the beach. We did walk on the rocks (need comfy shoes) and got to a sandy beach in 15 minutes. You can hop on the bus/cab and be to the beach in 5 minutes. I prefer the pool and view of the ocean personally. The waves are nicer from a distance:) Anyways, Playa Fiesta was AMAZING! I met Sarah who is getting married next march and Megan & Alyssa who are past brides. What a great time!

  11. Ok so I know that Lindsay and Blaire are the best WCs in the world... but I am going to Playa Fiesta in the morning and was wondering if you girls needed anything?
  12. oh Boy. I think you should invite her. Don't get me wrong... you are right about not wanting negative around. But, it's going to be around no matter what. You know what they say about keeping your enemies close? You are doing it for your FI, his bro and your future in-laws. Not her. AND I think it is perfectly fine to keep her out of the wedding party, that is what she wanted. But she needs to be invited to the events.
  13. I kindof want to try it when we get back from vacay... I may die but that's the price to pay:P

  15. I thought I remember someone using the trio or samba music and really liking it. I think that could be very cool!
  16. I was actually talking to a well known doctor (he is in clinical trials) and he said that Walmart's Nature's Source is some of the best quality vitamins out there. Just thought I'd share.
  17. Well I can see where you are coming from, but because it is out of your control you need to take a deep breath and deal with it. Be gracious, and take it as a compliment. Now, as for your wedding. It sounds like you have made most of your choices. So if she tries to interject simply say "thank you for your opinion... but I have spent many hours researching so we are going to stick to the plan. Dreams and your TA know weddings and I doubt they have lead you astray. Good luck, stay calm and keep your cards close so to speak.
  18. Welcome Vanessa! AND A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Crystal! Can't wait to hear all about it:)
  19. Beautiful Leslie!!! I hope this reminds you of what you are fighting for:) Congrats!
  20. A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ... Enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own, even if she never wants to or needs to... something perfect to wear if the employer, or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .. a youth she's content to leave behind.... a past juicy enough that she's looking forward to retelling it in her old age.... a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra... one friend who always makes her laugh... and one who lets her cry... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .. a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family... eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal, that will make her guests feel honored... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .. a feeling of control over her destiny... how to fall in love without losing herself... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... how to quit a job, break up with a lover, and confront a friend without; ruining the friendship.... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW.... when to try harder... and WHEN TO WALK AWAY... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... that she can't change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents.. that her childhood may not have been perfect...but it's over... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... what she would and wouldn't do for love or more... how to live alone... even if she doesn't like it... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW.. . whom she can trust, whom she can't, and why she shouldn't take it personally... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... where to go....... be it to her best friend's kitchen table.. or a charming Inn in the woods... when her soul needs soothing... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... What she can and can't accomplish in a day... a month...and a year... ~ Love.
